Not right now, but this past week-end took in a few movies:
1. X-Men Origins- I had intentially put this one off as I thought I was going to hate it. But I didn't hate it; I didn't love it, but I didn't hate it. A few remarks:
- Any time that a movie is a prequal, it is setting itself up for failure. Everytime I see something it makes me wonder if it 'gels' with the future that was already established in the older movies and I really did not see it happen with this movie. As a stand alone movie it works well, but as a part in the X Man series is seems to be lacking...
-The Proposel: Nothing too crazy for a romantic comedy, but worth it to see a half naked Sandra Bulloch.

We just saw Disney's Cristmas Carol on Tuesday. It was really well done, but not for young kids though. It was made by the same guy who did The Polar Express, but they are certianly not for the same audiance. I was also happy with Jim Carry's performance. Not over the top in the slightest. Saw it in 3D which I hate, but whatever. Great movie to get you in the holiday spirt, if that is what you are looking for.

That episode is awesome! Some of the earlier episodes were the best written ones.

I honestly can't watch newer episodes without changing the channel because the humor I find to be very repititious and mundane. So many episodes now are based around crappy pop culture references or celebrity guest appearances.

Older episodes did that as well, but not as much. The writing team before was MUCH more talented IMO.

Fear of Victory: interesting episode featuring Scarecrow, but not his best.

The Clock King: One of my favorite season 1 episodes, Temple Fugate is one evil little man and the climax on the clock tower was simply epic.

Appointment in Crime Alley: Another awesome episode. Roland Dagett is one two-timing, squeaky clean back stabber. Love It! One of his best episodes....well, all the Dagett episodes were great! :D

Interestingly, I think that's the one where Fox had a contest where the winner would more or less call the shots for the events of an episode, and also appear within that episode as an animated character, possibly providing voice lines.

^^ Yeah, I heard that too. I tell ya, there was just something magical about Adam West and Kevin Conroy teaming up to take down a crazed terrorist bomber in a similar style to Bruce Wayne's childhood favorite show. That episode will, without a doubt, be one of the top 10 best of the BTAS. :D

Even though this movie ranks on a whole bunch of people's "worst Christmas movies" list, I don't think it deserves it.

I hated it the first time I watched it. But the second time it clued in as to what the movie was really about. It parodies a spy movie with Christmas. Its just replacing political fanatics with holiday fanatics.

Now the baby just woke up, so we're going to watch Robocop 2 together until she falls asleep again. It worked the other day with Robocop 1 when she couldn't sleep from 2am to 4.30am. :p
