yep. the leak is commander class. I would be shocked if there was any reuse. Certainly a bigger trailer with more detail. Blast effects.

I hope he comes with a couple movie bits like the lightsaber, or the pistol Megs uses to blast him. Maybe some battle damage. Likely just a hyper detailed/part count voyager like Kingdom Rodimus.

It's already been allegedly confirmed to be an entirely new design from the ground up.


Which is a relief. Like most of the ER designs, it sort of ticked a few boxes at the time but clearly could be vastly improved in many ways.

SS86 Prime is probably going to scale with Commander class Kingdom Rodimus. So the main bot will probably be a similar scale to Earthrise Prime. That would make the most sense.

Very few ss86 are redecos of other chug; the vast majority have been designed for studio series first.

Kup is an ss86 toy; his redeco is bwbb.

Other that cliff bwbb, blaster, and arcee being a HEAVY retool, ss86 toys are brand new. It's not a crap shoot when it's 95%.

What retooling did SS86 Blaster get? I thought it was a straight repaint.

Wasn't SS Starscream pretty much the same as ER except for the hands, throne and extra accessories? Don't have him so I'm not sure of the difference(s).

I personally think SS Optimus and SS Megatron will be new molds. I doubt SS Springer and SS Galvatron will be new molds. We'll see I guess.

Oh yeah forgot about starscream. Yeah I expect galv will be a redeco. Rumour is springer will be entirely new but we will see.

The Earthrise Prime is fantastic, but there are some areas that it could use improvement. I never liked how the repair drone looked cast in solid grey plastic.

I'm wagering it'll be a redeco, but with some extras and retooling.

Include Roller and Prime's ion cannon from the Centurion Drone, retool the internals so it doesn't leave the line on Prime's face mask from transforming, and add some new paint apps, and improve the paint apps for the trailer in combat deck mode, and you may be able to entice some people to double dip.

It is going to take a lot more than roller a gun and some paint to make a Leader Class commander class. I'm guessing a new mould. Something very similar to a scaled down and simplified MP-44
