Renderform Night Shade w/ Comparison

Also got this kit today. This is the new version of the Darkwing kit for the Universe figure.

the head sculpt is extremely well done, and very reminiscent of the Masterforce Hydra animation as well as a mix of toy detail.

In comparison to the Nebulan Tempest head, you can really see how far Venksta's 3D modeling has come over the last couple years, not that it was bad at all before either.

One thing that I'd like to note is how the head attaches this time, it's just a recessed back plate as opposed to a split down the middle that left a small gap along the side of the head before.

You can see the massive amount of detail on the new guns as opposed to the original set here.

Whether you have the Botcon Dreadwind or a custom, they look very good together.

I really like the new head. Might need to look into picking one up. Thanks for the pics!
