Re: ShelfLife Beta Test Announcement: Very Exciting Stuff
Werevenom, with regards to e-hobby, my understanding is that the e-hobby version of a figure (which is really just a store exclusive) should be reflected in the catalogue for the underlying figure. e.g. E-hobby encore ratchet and ironhide are in my encore catalogue, but e-hobby henkei thundercracker and skywarp will be in the henkei catalogue. I think I put e-hobby right in the name of my entries so you could find them in a search, not sure if all curators did that.

This is all correct ,thanks Bruticus82!
I would add however that curators should use the fields provided to denote exclusives. This will allow users to click the Exclusive value, ie "E-Hobby" on a product details page and lead to a search result with all of the e-hobby releases.
That's how we handle catalogues from different angles. This can also be done with Manufacturer, Artist, etc.

Awesome, wervenom. If you curate a small catalog, it won't take up much of your time.
I've just sent you an email about curating. In the meantime, have a look at the curator thread.

You did now that I have checked but still ran into the same "problem". With the obvious amount of what we collect we will have to face that some items are going to be missed. For obvious reasons time being the highest on the list, I tip my hat off to all the curators who are going thru the painstaking love of product by uploading all the info required. But to my original point by using both e-hobby or Galvatron in the main search bar I still couldn't come across the Purple Galavatron remade of the original G1 Mold so I would assume he is not up yet. Today is the first day I have actually been on shelflife so I am still working on navagating my way thru the site. But great work for all of you who have participated to get it to where it is. Great Job

Ya, there are still a bunch of missing items and lines. The curators are working on most lines (TF at least) so I'm sure over the next while, most of the various TF products throughout the years will be listed.
I do have to echo your note about the 25th Ann. Unicron. I'm not even sure what line that would technically belong to. Nick or Faust, do you know anything about this particular figure?

I just reindexed all of the products in ShelfLife's search engine. Could you try searching again, and let me know if you find it? If it's still not there, which catalog should it be in?

Unfortunately, I haven't dug into the 25th Anniversary stuff yet, so I'm in the same boat as you.
Can anyone else shed some light on 25th Anniversary Unicron? He definitely needs to be in SL!

Other 25th anniversary toys like prime were released a couple years ago to comemorate the 25th anniv. of Transformers.
25th anniv. Unicron is comemorating 25years since Transformers The Movie. To the best of my knowledge there are no other toys released for the 25th anniv. of the movie.
Since the figure is a repaint of the Energon unicron (and new head mold), but not new character, maybe list it as a variant under that guy? Unless there is a catalog for 1-off and special edition stuff that doesn't fall into any particular, official line.
Any other ideas out there?

Re: ShelfLife Beta Test Announcement: Very Exciting Stuff
Even though it's mostly a repaint of the Armada and Energon Unicrons, I really dont think it belongs in either of those lines. I guess if nothing else, maybe in the Generations or Universe lines but it doesnt necessarily fit in one of those either (specially considering there already is a Unicron in the Universe line/packaging style). It may end up being just a one off figure in it's own seperate line?

From the sounds of it, we should have a Transformers catalog with a generic name like "Miscellaneous" or "Exclusives", for catching these 1-off TFs that don't fit into any other line.
