YTV Launches Transformers Animated Promo Site with New Air Date

YTV now has a page for Transformers Animated up on their site: http://www.ytv.com/programming/shows...rmersAnimated/

We previously reported, Transformers Animated to Air in Canada on YTV Starting this January debuting during YTV's "A Day of Firsts" event on January 1 at 7:00pm (ET). It will then move to its regular time slot of 9:30am on Saturday, January 5. However, the website now indicates a new air date of Saturday, January 12 at 9:30 AM E/P.

according to zip2it TV listings, TF animated will still air the first 3 episodes on Jan. 1st at 9pm central time.

Some people here are missing the point. It is still airing on the first, but the series doesn't start it's regular routine until two weeks after as apposed to one.

Yeah I had passed over that on the first read, so it's really no big deal then.

Blame Cartoon Network it seems. They've made YTV delay the broadcast of Naruto and Death Note. And it seems they'll be doing it agian. However, YTV is notorious for it's scheduling errors. It once listed the last episode of Cybertron(Inferno) airing a week after it actually did. It often has shows premeire dates at their re-air time(Death Note was given on YTV's Schedule a 1:30 AM airing, which it has, but that not it's premiere, but encore). So, ya, it could be a goof for the actual series, or it's delayed.

Actually, Super PrimeZ, it would seem as though the "delay" is not a delay at all.

The premiere is schedualed for the first, as part of YTV's "Day of firsts", then it repeats on January the 5th.

So my guess is, the premiere isn't counted as part of the regular show (being a three episode movie), and so the "new" time merely indicates when the regular half-hour shows start their routine. (ie. ep four+)

So there is no delay at all.
