There are trustworthy sites that have this preorder. Don’t know if they have run out as well. But if you are worrying about getting stuffs from places in China, etc then wait for a possible release at Hasbro Pulse or most definitely FanExpo (if you are in GTA during last week of Aug).

Well, there is a chance Hasbro Pulse may have it after SDCC. If you don’t have a US shipping address the FedEx shipping cost is pretty bad though but the Prime itself will be at regular price.

Like I said there are (were? I didn’t bother to check again) a few trustworthy sites in China, etc. that have their preorder listings (Asians locations often get our exclusives as regular releases), and like I also said if you are not comfortable with them then no go I supposed. But if you can put one in it is still not the aftermarket super inflated price at this time.

There is a fair chance we will see it at Toronto FanExpo in the last weekend of August (Hasbro SDCC exclusives were available for the last few years), so if you are closed by or you will be in the GTA at the time then you can go line up at Hasbro’s booth to take a chance. You might luck out, but you might not depends on how limited it is. Well, Peter Cullen & Frank Welker (Prime & Megatron) will be there, too, so you can get their autograph and take a pic with them (at extra cost beside admission). It beats paying extra to meat with William Shatner I supposed? lol

FYI, those are not preorders from the direct channel so I wouldnt count it. The direct channel for SDCC exclusives is either Pulse or Entertainment Earth (forget which) and those are the only place where you can get the toy at its correct price. Buying from TFSource is basically the same as buying from a scalper in this case so of course your paying 100$ more. They arent getting the product directly from hasbro so they must buy from somewhere else,

Hard to say... but probably not IMHO.

Just take your chance at FanExpo later if you can. Or, wait to see if Hasbro Pulse will get some in stock after all these conventions later in the year.
