Hi guys,

I just found a SS-13 from ToysRus and I noticed it's a 2011 V-class Megatron in it! There were at least 4 SS-13 on the shelf but this is the only one got a different figure inside.

I'm pretty sure this is a brand new and unopened, just a little bit wear outside the box.

So just wondering have you guys seen this before? Is this some kind of special? Or just because the manufacturer packed a wrong one?

Thank you guys!

Somebody clearly knows how to seal a package back well. The person looks to have twist tied the figure into the SS13 box, taped the box closed, returned it to TRU, and kept the original figure for themself. It's been happening a lot lately, more so with Marvel Legends. That's really all it is.

I concur. Months ago I was going to buy Siege Shockwave and found Cyberverse Shockwave packaged instead.
Recently I found a 2007 Bonecrusher in place of the new Studio Series one.
Apparently this is a very common phenomena in the TF fandom....

People do that all the time and not just for TFs... pretty lame

Yeah its someones return in the never versions box. Common scam. That version is also missing several pieces and seems to have a different head then the original.

I think it's a KO.

Actually looking it over, seems to be a real one with a painted head from one of the 2007 Voyager Megatrons.

Example head:
