Picked these up at a toys show earlier today. Are these Transformers toys from McDonalds or something in the 80’s? What are these? Thanks!

i believe they are. i remember getting three different ones though.

Ah, I remember those (and used to have them). They were the Commandrons, which was a four-week promo at McD's back around '85 or '86, I believe. There were four different toys, with a different one offered each week ("while supplies last", of course).
While they weren't official Transformers-branded toy, hey, transforming robot toys were pretty much everywhere in the mid-'80s. :cool:

These are commandrons from Tomy in the 80s. They are not Transformers. They were available for purchase for 2$ at Mcdonalds. You can read more about them here at the end:

Those thing are everywhere. Tons at toy shows and always at value village. Just like those old gas station edition Go-Bots. Ah, the memories...

I remember these from way way back when I was a kid, might have had all of them, doubles of the moving-pincers guy

These were also available at sunoco gas station on the 80's too, bought them along side the dc super powers figures at a local sunoco when I was a kid.
