Is it a KO or a real vintage

I wonder if you can make use of the bar code on the box to find out?

Appears authentic. The packaging, foam, toys, partially removed Kmart price tag, etc., looks like legit 35 years of wear and tear that can't easily be faked. Also, the font type and placement of art on the box appears to match the original...KO versions haven't been able to duplicate the original exactly.

$550 cad in that condition is too much regardless of authenticity

It looks authentic, but why would you want to spend that much on this set? They probably can still be found in stores or much cheaper on Ebay.

I think you’ve confused the 80s giftset with tbe walmart reissue

My bad, you're right. Still overpriced though, I'd rather get the Combiner Wars one or Gravity Builder at that price.

Looks totally legitimate to me but they need to drop the price, considering the box condition and the fact that it was just officially reissued for a second time.
There are plenty of offers for under 200$, on ebay.
Check this one (http://rover.ebay.com/rover/1/711-53200-19255-0/1?&customid=afnews&toolid=10001&campid=5335815859&mpre=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.ebay.com%2Fitm%2FVintage-Transformers-G1-Devastator-Constructicon-Complete-Hasbro-Takara-1984%2F113542832819%3Fhash%3Ditem1a6fae22b3%3Ag%3A 49YAAOSwptZcN1mY%3Ark%3A2%3Apf%3A1%26frcectupt%3Dt rue) out, per example. You get something like that and then treat yourself with a nice set of Reprolabels stickers.

Yeah from experience, I put that set closer to $300. And yeah, you could get a pretty sick gravity builder for that money but it’s apples to oranges.

The vintage box and foam is usually more expensive than the actual robots in Devastators case

At the risk of hijacking a thread so I don't have to make another, I was wondering if anyone has ever dealt with these guys.

It says sold by "Transformers" but the company is actually called Toyforcom.
Thanks!
Ediot: (Yes I spelt that like that on purpose ;)) I sent them an email and they say it is genuine.
