Soundwave has always been my favourite. Megatron a close 2nd and Thundercracker rounding out the top 3.

Depends on criteria, and universe.

The original Marvel comics were pretty awful for Decepticons, from what I remember.

From the G1 cartoon, Rumble was the most entertaining.

The Combaticons were cool of the start, but then they made Bruticus far too "dumb", especially for a sentient robot.

The Insecticons were nice and evil, as a type of renegade crew.

It was always nice to see Shockwave on-screen.

Don't know why, but I always liked Blitzwing.

The scene from the 86 movie when he's flying in jet mode, transforms to robot mode, lands, then transforms to tank mode give me chills to this day...
