Combiner Wars Deluxe wave 4 spotted at Canadian Retail

Combiner Wars wave 4 deluxe figures have arrived at Canadian stores. This wave consisting of Prowl, Mirage, Sunsteaker and Ironhide were spotted in Ontario Walmarts.

Got them today at Walmart for $19.92 CDN each. Comic book included and no bilingual packaging. They scanned without problem when I went to buy them. Here are the codes...

Waves 2 and 3 have been warming pegs at my Walmarts and tru for a while now, they just sold the last of the wave 2 and 3 figs with the last combiner wars sales this past month at tru. I have these in preorder at Canucktibles and they'll be in this week I believe. I was hoping for canadian packaging for our release because I keep those MOC because the packaging g looks better than the comics. I'll pick up the canadian carded o ed if they every cone up at retail.

Very interesting to see the comic and English only packaging in Canada. I think its great, but wonder if these are atypical.

Woot woot.... Finally I've been dying for wave 4... know what I'm doing this weekend :D and thank gawd... we are getting the comic books.... I can't deal with any more trading cards... if the cards were like the 3p and had info and stats on the back... I'd be more inclined to want them.. but not this way.. the comics are so much better.

Toys R Us (Canada) has their Combiner War figures on for 20% off...you can price match this at your local Walmart and they do accept online versions of the flyer. I have done this multiple times between the two stores.

How do you price match if they don't have deluxes on the website? The flyer only showed the leader megatron.

You can't price match without a similar figure in the line on the site. If there are no combiner wars deluxes listed then you cannot match it, if you do then it's just plain luck.
There was a set of wave 4 deluxes in waterdown today if anyone in the area is still looking.

You can't price match without a similar figure in the line on the site. If there are no combiner wars deluxes listed then you cannot match it, if you do then it's just plain luck.
There was a set of wave 4 deluxes in waterdown today if anyone in the area is still looking.

Incorrect according to a CS Manager I spoke with. The TRU flyer says "ALL" Combiner Wars figures were 20% so therefore they would honour the price match.

Their due diligence is to call the local TRU and find out the exact price the figure "style" (i.e. Deluxe) in question retails at the sale price. In this case it actually works out to be more than 20% Walmart price as they sell their Deluxes at a higher price point and you get the price TRU sells for.

I have done this more than 5 times at three different Walmart locations. More often than not they simply just take the sale percentage of their own price and not call TRU at all since its time consuming.

I wish I was being sarcastic. Honestly the stupid English comic book must be what is preventing it from being released in QC due to the language laws. Wave 4 has been out for awhile now in the other provinces, maybe a month?
