That is the 2009 reissue. I think they eventually clearanced them from TRU for $30 or so. Perceptor was out around that time too, right?

If you got the Japanese Takara book-style "Collection" series Insecticons re-issue set it comes w/ 3 energon cubes, like this new set, and cheaper.

Pretty much, it's a trio of Legend sized toys with 30 years old engineering! The steel molds and design cost were paid long ago. 20$ each is the max I would

I was at the k-mart in Bangor, Maine, today and they were indeed $79.99. With our current exchange rate it would have worked out to roughly the $109.99 that tru canada wants for them. WAY over priced.
