A heads up for Transformers Generation 1 cartoon fans; voice actor Rob Paulsen who played Air Raid, Chase, Haywire, Fastlane and Slingshot will be a guest at Con-G (http://con-g.com/), an anime convention happening February 22-24, 2013 held in the Delta Hotel & Conference Centre, 50 Stone Road, Guelph, ON.

Rob will be appearing in the following panels:
Voice Acting 101 with Rob Paulsen – Friday at 8 pm
Rob Paulsen Q & A – Saturday at 1 pm
25 Years of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles – A Two-Time Turtles’ Perspective – Sunday at 11 am

And these Autograph Sessions:
Saturday 3:00 – 4:30 pm
Sunday 1:00 – 2:30 pm

He is best known as the voice behind Raphael from the 1987 cartoon of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, and is on the new Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles series as the voice of Donatello.

Anyone know if they charge for autographs at this con? Or what the admin fee is?

You can find the prices and more info on the linked website but here is a summary.

$35 at the door for a weekend pass
$15 for a Friday-only pass
$25 for a Saturday-only pass
$15 for a Sunday-only pass

Pictures or autographs will be $20, voicemails $35, or $50 for both a voicemail and either a photo or an autograph.

Anyone been to this before? Any idea on what the dealer tables are like? Anything other than plush for sale?

"They" are seriously charging for autographes and voice work?

Most Anime Conventions I've seen don't go that route. Interesting.

If Rob is charging for autographs and photos,it will all be for charity.

The information I was provided from the convention is that the rates are per his agent. No mention of a charity.

It's an anime convention. I would not go expecting a dealer room with much in the way of Transformers or other collectibles.
