Hey guys (and girls), this year Cybertron.ca is challenging you to participate in Movember. Movember, the month formerly known as November, is a moustache growing charity event held during November each year that raises funds and awareness for men's health.

You can join us (http://ca.movember.com/team/783153) to help us raise donations, or help us out by donating any amount (http://ca.movember.com/mospace/4585233).

It's Movember and time to make a difference.
Men's health is a cause I am passionate about but in order to make a difference I need your help. My commitment is to grow a moustache for the month of November and in doing so, raise vital awareness and funds for prostate cancer and male mental health.
I am asking you to help support my personal journey by making a donation. The size of which isn't important, every little bit helps Movember to continue its funding of world class programs. If you want to know more about what you'll be helping to fund, you can visit http://ca.movember.com/about/funding-overview/.
To highlight the importance of what I am doing, take a look at these statistics:
• 1 in 7 men will be diagnosed with prostate cancer in their lifetime
• This year 26,500 new cases of the disease will be diagnosed
• 1 in 5 men will experience a mental illness this year
If you'd like to help change these statistics, please donate to me here: http://ca.movember.com/mospace/4585233
If you're interested in the work being done take a look at the Programs We Fund section on the Movember website: http://ca.movember.com/about/funding-overview/
Thank you in advance for supporting my efforts to change the face of men's health.

I've been trying to grow a mustache these 24 years... all I have to show for it is peach fuzz. Do 'milktaches' count?

Thanks to all that have contributed so far.

Both my Father and Father-in-law are cancer survivors. It's my hope to have them both around a long time to see my 2 sons grow up to become men.

Movember day 6: Sad when your robuts openly mock your slow rate of growth by photobombing you with their own robut 'stache.

...I could grow that in less then 24 hours...that's not bragging...if anything I'd kill to only have to shave half as much as I do

Okay folks, day 19 and I finally have enough of something to actually call a 'stache. Going to throw out a challenge to everyone here on the boards: if our team's donations total reaches $500, I will buzz my head using the #1 guard on my electric clippers; if our team total reaches $1200 I will shave my head bald and post pics.

There are enough members on these boards that if everyone donated just $1 we could easily surpass the $1200 mark. So check my link, donate, and share the link with others. This is your chance to force a random stranger to sleep on the couch for a week, 'cause if this happens my wife will likely flip. http://mobro.co/jasonregular

Okay, I knew the moustache is not epic, or even something to get the ladies swooning (wife REALLY does not like it), but I didn't realize how awful it is until today. I'm at a family get-together, and my sister-in-law, who has seen pics on facebook, came around the corner and saw it in person for the first time. She doubled over in loud, raucous laughter, nearly falling on the floor, then tried to apologize through the tears. At that point all I could say was, "No, no, please tell me what you REALLY think of it".:o
