Recently alot of people been trying to get their hands on Masterpiece Ultra Magnus. It currently goes for $200 USD plus shipping on average. And only people wanna buy him now because they're making more and more MPs and they're the only one they didn't get because it appears to be just a repaint of Prime which it is. BUT the fact that its the only one they are missing in their collection totally bugs the hell out of them so people are trying to get him.

Anyways, I was just thinking with all this buying frenzy for Ultra Magnus, wouldn't it be cool/frustrating if Takara decided to release a definitive MP of Ultra Magnus just like they did with Prime and include his trailer?

I think that would be sweet cuz I haven't bought it yet but that would also be pissy for the guys who just paid $200 for a standard one without the trailer.

Of course this is just speculation cuz we don't know if they gonna make one but if they did, I am so all over it.

I already have an MP02 (for under $100 at that) but I will open up the wallet gladly for a trailer upgrade. An armoured MP Magnus would just be too cool to pass up on.

OH man if they ever made that...I just saw this ( http://www.tfarchive.com/fandom/kitbashes/Tramp/Classics_Ultra_Magnus/ ) and thought the same thing except with the classic figure. But I think the people that would be REALLY pissed would be the ones who paid $100-200 for the MP-02 + $1000 for the trailer from mark's projects.

I'm still hoping for a Ultra Magnus with Armour.

Heck, I bought an MP-01 after I bought my MP-04. Why? It's a series that I love so much that I'm willing to pay more money to have every MP ever released.

My hunch is to buy it now, or you can wait later to pay for it for an even higher price in a few months/a year down the road. It's unpredictable, I know.

Yeah, as for that custom MP Ultra Magnus trailer, I'd rather wait it out and hope to see a better designed one by Takara (No offense to Mark), but it will probably be better designed overall.


I thought Hasbro announced at this yr's Botcon that they would be released a Classics Ultra Magnus with battle armour from an entirely new design/mold.

I'm not a big fan of the straight-up repaint MP-02, though I would buy it right away if they re-released it with a trailer.

I passed up MP02 when the price was low.... I really hope the come out with a complete version(with trailer).

Ditto, though I think if Takara did end up making a Magnus Armour, I'd hope it wouldn't be able to fit on Prime. This way, they'd have to do some modifications on the existing Prime mold to get the armour on.

Speaking of MP - 02 anybody have one for sale? Its the thing I need from the masterpiece collection, I got all the other bots, mp - 01 trailer, mp - 05 accessory pack.

I own MP-2 and I think if they did him up like Prime with a trailer would be all win! An armor upgrade version would just rule.
