Transformers Generations Wave 2 - Fall of Cybertron released at Canadian Retail

Thanks to Cybertron.ca member Cheers Ian we now know that the Fall of Cybertron wave 2 deluxe figures have been released at Canadian retail. When I got my case about 2 months ago, the case breakdown had the five Combaticons, 2 Primes, and 1 Jazz. Since then I think there was a revision exchanging one Prime for a Shockwave. They're a pretty decent bunch. They even have a Scramble City thing going on, although not shown in the instructions.

Individually I think these are great figures (and will also look 100% better when people start painting them) but I'm very disappointed with Bruticus as a whole. Their scale is out of whack... Swindle is huge and Brawl looks like the runt of the litter whereas Onslaught is lacking his what should be prowess.

Again, as stand-alone figures they're rather nice.

I never ship my items straight to me unless they use USPS at a low cost.

I have heard the same but for me I am getting both. The one from BBTS will stay as Bruticus and the retail ones I picked up will stay as individuals. The hate IMO would come from those who have it and paid more than mass retail that was released yesterday. I paid $80 for the set and as soon as TRU gets it I will use my raincheck to get it even cheaper and take my other set back to Wal-mart

I ownder if they even know what the actual purpose of a raincheque is. It it solely designed that if your item(s) doesn't come in during the sale you have the oppurtunity to get it. It's not like TF's come in in limited quantaties (MP10 excluded) and they don't appear on thier shelves again. That is very bad customer service on thier part.

That makes 3 but my prices were a bit different though:confused:. BBTS charged me 76.68 but maybe that's the US rate as oppossed to CAD? FOC Retail was $80 but that just discount and rewards being used though.

I totally agree with your logic, there are a few factors which led me to purchase through BBTS.

1. Colour - I really like the G2 colours for this.
2. Driving and hunting - As much as I love a good hunt - the bill starts to rise from the numbers you have shown based on gas and time. If it's a one time stop, grab, pay and PAYCE! cool... hunting for MP-10 will remain within my mind :)
