You can always buy something you want now from Toys R Us, then when the sale is on you can bring the Zellers flyer to Toys R Us and do a pricematch. :)

I might try to get Voyager Ironhide or Starscream for this sale...if I can find them.

Sounds like a great sale beside it seems every zeller around here have barely anything, they finally got some new deluxes, I guessing for the sale. I hope they get a few more things.There is some stuff that I still dont have that is on that sale list that I want, providing of course they have it....

One thing I've always found with zeller there always to little, to late, by the time they get stock and have sales people have already picked up what they want somewhere else...well it always seems to happen to me at least

One lady told me I couldn't price adjust against the sale of another store unless I bought it on the same day, I think that's probably BS. but I think you could probably price adjust for the Zellers sale if you buy at Zellers.

I can't get excited about this sale since I think I have most of the stuff available in everyday stores, and that i'm collecting. I wandered into TRU after getting my DVD at Best Buy and just stood there in the aisle looking around. All I could think about was "I think i'm done" lol. Granted, if they pull out some surprise classic of course i'm interested but when it comes to movie toys, i've got everything I want. Although, there's always Wreckage...he's the only one deluxe that I don't have and didn't want until I started typing this sentence.....yet now my collection seems incomplete...blah.

I've been determined to only collect toys that I know from the comics, movie, shows etc, and even then only in formats that I like (boo to legends class). Case in point, I've never watched Beast Wars (although have it ready for when I have time) so i'm trying not to collect the toys yet since it will mean more when I'm invested in the characters. Even then, today I wandered home with Primus Megs.....

Long post. General point is that I'm hopeless, will likely buy more stuff I don't need, yaa sale.

that is lame. my nearest Zellers has no movie deluxes, no movie voyagers, and no movie leaders right now so unless they put out stock overnight there will be nothing to get. :mad:

Argh, yeah that sucks. I've rarely seen any voyagers around here at Zellers. I guess the only option is to pricematch, I hope TRU doesn't read the no rainchecks thing though..

No price match at Lansdowne TRU. I tried and it didn't work. First the girl says the local Zellers do not have stock, second, they said the Zellers flyer does not mention 'movie' and therefore it is not the exact item. I totally got pissed. Went to Zellers at the same mall, they have one Deluxe and one Rescue Ratchet. Bring the Rescue Ratchet back to TRU and proof that they were wrong.

Seriously, if the competitor has stock, why bother buying it from TRU. Do they really want to sell or not.

It worked for me at Metrotown TRU, I lucked out completely though. At first the guy wanted to call Zellers but for some reason the phone didn't work or something, then the manager came in and the guy asked her what to do. She goes "how much is the difference?" and I said 5 bucks per toy, so she said "just do it" and I was able to pricematch my Longarm and Ironhide I picked up yesterday.

When I've been to Zellers, I got a 10$ Transformers gift cards (because I bough for more than 50$) for my next 50$+ purchase on TFs stuff. Even the girl there didn't know about it, it's another one that came and told here about it.

Anyone knew about that ? The card expire on october 28, so I don't know if I'll be able to use it (every store are out of voyager toys it seems, and I only need Blackout and Ratchet to finish the movie bot).

This seems like one of those sales to clear out old toys before a christmas restock. I'm hoping they restock before the end of the sale, but that would be a poor business choice for Zellers. I'm lucky that the local Zellers had a single Wreckage and the new Rescue Ratchet for me to buy.

Zellers is owned by the Bay, and i've noticed quiet little sales within the Bay's toy section that match Zellers, just not at the same time. Patrol the Bay's Toy department in the next few weeks and you may get lucky.

I went in to Conestoga Mall Zellers on Friday (day before the sale) and picked up Longarm, Arcee, and the Brinks Truck. Told the cashier that these would be on sale tomorrow and could I bring them back for price adjustment then? She said "No need" and adjusted the price then and there to the $9.99 each. Very happy. :)

Wanted Dropkick more than the Brinks Truck, but can't find him anywhere. Might take the Zellers flyer into Wally-Mart and try a pricematch there if they have him.

Stopped at a bigger Zellers (Ottawa St) and they had NO deluxes or Voyagers left at all. Nada.

Side note: Arcee is FUGLY. Bought her to paint and kitbash into my bike (Yamaha FZ6) as a movie TF. Need to give her a new face... yikes.

This is the worst sale ever. Both of the Zellers locations in Regina have no deluxes and no voyagers. They didn't even have any before the sale, they just put the sale sign up over the empty pegs. I was really hoping to pick up a Starscream and/or leader Brawl on sale..

i went to sunridge zellers (calgary) and there was nothing. on the sunday after the sale started, there was nothing. not even the guys who weren't on sale

got bonecrusher and longview at the bay though (not discounted, oh well :P)
