New Transformers Kre-O Sets Released at Canadian Retail

Thanks to Cybertron.ca members Scrapper6 and Vanhound, we now know that new Transformers Kre-O building sets have been released at Canadian retail.

The Battle for Energon (http://www.tfw2005.com/resources/browsecategory.php?do=searchresults&searchid=501835) and Race Car Showdown (http://www.tfw2005.com/resources/browsecategory.php?do=searchresults&searchid=501838) sets have been found at a Zellers in Manitoba and a Walmart in British Columbia.

Finally! something interesting. I think this new batch of KRE-O set looks a ton better than the first batch! The robots design have really been improving. The only thing they need to fix is how low the shoulders always end up at.

Wow. The Battle for Energon is actually nicer looking. Devestator though is a pass. Where's are Kre-ons blind packs?

I thought I was good and over Kre-O... but then I got the Prime set from last year on clearance at Walmart, and damn if that's not a lovely truck. I think I'll never bother building the robot, though.

But yeah, I'm back in, baby. Bring on the Microchangers, I'm psyched about them!

[Anyone want a regular Optimus Prime or Skywarp Kreon? Although the SKywarp I got in the box does not have the chromed toes like it did the first time I got this Kreon... even though those toes dechromed themselves within a few minutes of playing with the guy.]
