Anyone know where to get some good display cases and cheaply?

I've been looking all over the internet for some acrylic display cases or stands. Selection is either limited or very pricey.

I've seen some awesome displays of people collections and wondered if any one had any tips? Or suppliers that maybe I hadn't thought of?

Thanks!

Ikea Detolf, or the Billy Bookcase (either with or without the glass doors).

As for display stands/risers, someone made their own customs ones out of foamboard, and there is also some kind of plastic organizer at wal-mart which fits in well. Maybe someone else can provide more info.

if you don't mind used and able to pickup, IKEA Detolf can be find on Craigist list for $50 or less quite often.

Nothing I found was less expensive than these at canadian Tire: http://www.canadiantire.ca/AST/browse/3/HouseHome/Furniture/Bookcases/PRD~0680652P/Sauder+Bookcase%2C+Oak+Finish.jsp?locale=en

Sure they're not very fancy but they're great for displaying a bulk of figures on the cheap :) I Also saw them in 2-3 different colours.

I've been using book cases I've gotten from Kent Building Supplies, but I'd like to get some glass encased ones -- like store display cases.

Cost wise any walmart book shelf are good.

As for stands you can make them yourself pretty easy

Get big sheet of acrylics for 50 from home depot. Get a can of acrylics glue from specialty store (about 14-20) per bottle

You can make 10 or more stands. Or get company custom make them. They are pretty cheap

Ikea Detolf, or the Billy Bookcase (either with or without the glass doors).

This is pretty much my display case mix. The glass cases are awesome for displaying the special figures. Billy cases just give you lots of room to get everything on a shelf.

I'm still on the hunt for some decent risers. I thought I found a site that had great selection, but the shipping to Canada was killer.
