Costco Exclusive Leader Movie Optimus Prime with Bonus Released in Canada

Thanks to redOktobre we have learned Leader Class Movie Optimus Prime with bonus Legends Bumblebee and Jazz has been released at Canadian Costco for $37.99 each.

This sighting was at Costco in Vancouver, BC.

regular leader prime is 69.99.... but this one is $30 cheaper AND comes with BB and jazz? How is this possible? Or is this a much lower quality Prime?

BTW, I was at Costco on Markham & 14th yesterday and there were no TFs there at all...

Good news, especially since Prime is literally nowhere to be found, so a good second chance for those who missed out first go around.

69.99 is TRU price and they had a special of 49.99 once. It's regular 59.99 at some of the other stores. so 39.99 is cheaper than I would expect it to be, but not out of question. I'm going over there, Costco membership is paying off big time this year if they have any left :)

This is sweet - I have never seen Transformers at Costco before, so I'll remain pessimistic... but if anyone sees one and wants to pick me one up i wouldn't object :D

Well Costco never really carries TFs on any sort of regular basis. They just get these 'exclusive' sets that pop up every once in awhile. It's how I got Cyb. Prime (and Wingsaber). Specially in Canada, these sets are great savings.

Btw Abbotsford, BC has quite a few when I went there at lunch.

It's very possible, last year we got leaderclass Optimus Prime with Wing Saber and a DVD (removed in Quebec areas) for 39.99, now THAT'S a steal.

Wow, this is such a good deal, especially since we know that the MSRP of Transformers really screw us over with the currency exchange lately.

I'm guessing Costco (including Canadian ones) always get a Transformers exclusive every once a year, from around Sept. to Dec., such as the Cybertron Wing Saber & Prime, or the Yellow RiD Prime?

Well, actually it's only been of recent years that Costco has been getting Exclusives, because before Energon I recall no Costco exclusives at all. However, part of me feels that Transformers: Animated Prime will make it their in an exclusive pack aswell, one day.

You have to remember, this was spotted in BC, it may take some time for the rest of Costco's and Hasbro Canada's Distribuition to get things around.

I went to the one on Cyrville and the one in Gatineau. However, local collectors told me that we haven't received them yet, so there's still hope :D
