first off, if this is the wrong forum, sorry.

now, i want to have some art commissioned by someone so that i may get it tattoo'd on to me. i had a guy do up some great stuff a couple years ago, but i guess he's become way too busy to do any more.

so do i just make a thread in the mods/kitbashy forum? or do i contact someone more directly? how does this stuff usually work?

Normally the tattoo artist can do that for you.

I remember Alex Milne saying he designed a Tat for someone before. If you have an artist who you like send them a message and tell them what you are looking for, they are all pretty creative guys. The plus is that your favorite TF artist designed it for you.

Tatoo artist= Good for tracing specific art and may not have the goods to create the desired pic.

As for the OP

Maybe check here and post a request:

Also, there are a few professional artists who are members here. Perhaps a PM?

yeah, i mean most tattoo artists are great artists, but if they're not familiar with transformers there's no way they're going to be able to come up with original art that i'd be willing to use.
