When I see CL ads like this on a reg basis it just makes me wanna find the DB and punch him right in the cock-a-doodle-doo! :argh:

Do they just hope to sucker some unsuspecting parents or something? Just after Christmas!

Good luck loser!

I think we're the idiots. I remember those going for 50 bucks. Now there aren't any on Ebay selling for less than 200.

Quite a few have not sold for under $200.

Most movie figures look like destroyed electronics anyways.

Yeah. There are a few completed ones for 100 and 120. With shipping though that would easily cross 150.

I don't understand this anger towards the way people price stuff. This poor guy on CL thinks he's selling this at a deal, and the mess with A3U and the Henkei. Why is there so much hatred for making a little money. OMG. They're charging 60 bucks for a 30 dollar toy. Why don't you ask yourself how much that cup of coffee $4 at star bucks actually costs. Or how much that 7.00 bag of popcorn at the Movie Theatre costs. Or that shot of 8.00 beer at Goldeyes game. Or a $150 pair of Jordans. Or that $120 Lululemon Sweater. Yes. Lets get pissed off at the guy selling 1 transformer. He's obviously the mastermind trying to screw you out of your money.

I don't really care either, this happens all the time. The people who buy this just run the risk of being stuck w/ the item or selling it at even or at a loss.

It's when some people buy up an entire region of an item that is jaw dropping. I'm just laughing at a certain someone in my city who bought up almost every MP Grimlock from TRU at the time and expected to sell them all at $100 each, lmao

Are you more upset at the guy or Amazon for ripping people off?

Wow, what an idiot. Amazon is the absolute worst place on the internet to get accurate selling prices. The Transfomers: Matrix Of Leadership Box Set currently sells for over 450 dollars, LOL!

Or you can go to the various wal marts and zellers that still have them on the shelves!

The listing on Amazon isn't even Amazon's price. It's some store using Amazon as a selling route. So even THAT path isn't a good point of reference.

I kinda like the toy, but it seems like a lot of money for something I'd kick around my floor.

Or how much that 7.00 bag of popcorn at the Movie Theatre costs.

You're right! That theatre bag of popcorn can't cost more than $1.73, even with butter topping and overhead included! :argh:

I think when people put things up for sale they should be realistic. Do some research. To add 10-15% to an item isn't unreasonable but sometimes can be confusing. Especially if trying to cover the cost of shipping that was paid. You pay $50 for something and cost $25 to get it. Well that $75 as you may well know. So if the seller asks $80-90 then thats realistic. Just covering the initial put out. Nobody want to take a loss. That sucks. I also hate people that over charge shipping to make profit off the purchaser as well. That is shady. IMO

Tell buddy I'll take 2. I can resell them at $250 each. Any takers???

I don't see anything wrong with the person who is selling the item... if you don't like the price, don't buy it. The item belongs to him, and the money belongs to u. However, I would totally feel sorry for whoever buy this, because that price is just ridiculous....

1. The box is big and will take effort for me to transport lmao

2. The amazon listing is from a private seller not Amazon.

3. This guy is a moron.

edit*

I just went on ebay to see prices ont his guy. DID I MISS SOMETHING?

Why is he selling for $200 bucks? They couldn't give this guy away at stores.

Alas yes, including the 1's without even any electronics.

The irony is, of course, that 25 years from now, this may actually be a super rare item, since not a lot of people bought them, so there will be less of them circulating around the secondary market.

Today's Shelfwarmer could be Tomorrow's Fortress Maximus.... but probably not.

New in Box - the ultimate treat for every Transformer's fan, this is the very rare complete box set of the Constructicons Devastator combiner from Transformers 2: Revenge of the Fallen

The only true thing from this ad is the fact that is indeed New in box and from ROTF.

Calling this an Ultimate Treat is like calling AIDS a fun time.

it is funny that how he compares himself with the Amazon,$287.20, LMAO price,http://www.amazon.com/Transformers-Revenge-Fallen-Action-Figure/dp/B002L0JCWO/ref=sr_1_4?s=toys-and-games&ie=UTF8&qid=1295297054&sr=1-4.
but then, people look for Craiglist for cheap deal most of the time. there is no way he is going to sell this out, if people have experience to sell on craigslist, know it is how hard the toys will go on craigslist.
