i got one that i've always wondered.
when it comes time to choose a certain character to remake/update, (example=g1 siren homage into rotf siren or cybertron scattorshot homage into rotf scout version),how do you guys at hasbro go about choosing/picking one?do you guys search forums (like this one:D) and see what the latest "buzz" figure is?or do you guys let your own people decide "what will sell"?if so,do you let only your guys/designers who live and breath tf's decide?now don't get me wrong, hasbro's done some awesome remakes(like the recent rotf scout breakdown:D)but then there's been other not so awesome ones (fearswoop:eek::().how do you guys decide?

Will ROTF Mindwipe be given a G1 redeco? And is Skystalker going to have a Ratbat redeco to fit with G1 colour Mindwipe?

Since I first saw the ROTF Dirge I've been wondering if the design of both ROTF Dirge & ROTF Thrust/Breakaway plane modes were at all inspired by the designs for the G1 Aerial Bots?

Thrust and Breakaway have a close resemblance to Airraid while Dirge has a very Slingshot like look to him in plane mode.

While G1 coneheads Thrust and Dirge were given a new mold and a very nice retool respectively, was it lack of planning that caused Ramjet to be just a repaint of Movie 1 starscream? Also would the future release of "Generation Jetblade" be an attempt of a solution to this?

Secondly, it would be very helpful to show a physical toy photo of what the 3 movie bike sisters would look combined. Especially it's been announced that the last bike will be a repaint as opposed to a brand new mold.

Autobot Drift's appearance in the IDW comics has received a mixed reaction by fans. Was it difficult in choosing to give him a full figure debut in the upcoming Generations toy line based off the fan reaction, especially choosing over other G1 characters who fans are waiting to see get a "classics" treatment?

in terms of choosing G1 characters, Soundwave would be a nice example to give an explanation. Using the G1 mold in Universe packaging? it's nice and all. But would be even better to see a new incarnation of him.

Why have you chosen to produce toys for characters that were not even in the movie when you could have produce the remaining Constructicons, for example? Voyager Overload instead of Voyager Bludgeon, Voyager Hightower instead of Voyager Mindwipe and Deluxe Scrapper instead of Deluxe Lockdown?

Does Hasbro have any plans to address the continuity problems of the Transformers story line?,.... with so many coflictions as G1 to present, Japanese, the movies...etc it is confusing to try and have it all gel together and have an understandable timeline?

1. In G1 , was Dion rebuilt into Ultra Magnus?
2. Why do gestalt/combiner figures like the bruticus and Superion keep getting remolded/repainted above any other combiners like Menasor and Predaking ?
3. Will Hasbro follow Takara and release the unreleased NA animated figures?

Is it possible/viable for Hasbro Canada to make a collectors service like an online store to give Canadian collectors an opportunity to purchase exclusives that don't make it to their area or Canada altogether?

Jetblade does not have any blade weapons, nor does his bio make any mention of any special cutting ability. So why call him Jetblade?

Is Jetblade's deco a tribute to Universe Ramjet?

Why have Decepticons outnumbered Autobots in the voyager size class in the ROTF line?

Why do most of ROTF Bumblebee's repaints still feature the same yellow and black color scheme and the name "Bumblebee"? Why not repaint him in red or blue or green as a different character?

Will Masterpiece Grimlock see a Canadian release?

What's up with the remaining Animated releases?

THANK YOU FOR GENERATIONS THRUST!

Will we see more store exclusives like Animated Arcee & Cybertron Mode Ratchet or ROTF Shanghai Showdown sets or will these be left out like MP Starscream or ROTF Nebular Starscream?

Thanks for Generations Thrust. Do you have any plans for a generations Dirge?

With all the potential cartoon characters who have yet to receive classics/universe/generations figures, you've chosen to make two comic only chracters into figures (drift and straxus). How did this change in focus come about? Will you be focusing on more obscure characters in the future for the generations line?

Not sure if this has been mentioned yet, as I am in a hurry, but will MP Grimlock be seeing a Canadian release this year as well, or will he only be exclusive to US Toys R Us retailers?

Is it forboedden to ask when Animated Season 3 DVD set is coming out? It's doesn't really fall under any of your guidelines.

Oh and regarding G1 Rumble and Frenzy... so which ones blue and which is red? :D

Hasbro's already ruled on this one. Alternators Rumble and Robot Heroes G1 Rumble were both red.

Won't stop me from calling the blue one Rumble, though. ;)

Oh and regarding G1 Rumble and Frenzy... so which ones blue and which is red? :DThat one's already been answered (http://www.lilformers.com/index.php/2007/03/20/lil-formers-38-rumblefrenzy/).

As for my question, why do you constantly use that particularly ugly shade of grey plastic on everything? You've shown with several figures that you're capable of producing plastics in a wide variety of appealing colours, yet you continuously fall back on a particular shade of grey that looks absolutely hideous without paint. Why is that?

Was the recent switch to paper twist ties based in cost, environmental sustainability, or some combination or the two? Can we expect to see any other changes in packaging in the near future, especially in terms of more environmentally sound practices?
