Not sure if it'd been mentioned, but the clearance also applies to Superion.

If your stores don't seem to have the sale, scan the figures. Here, the shelves still had the figures at 49.99, but i scanned them and they rang up at 29.99

Its on clearance in at the zellers on appleby line in burlington, they have like 60 or more in the clearance and transformers isle, superion too.

The Zellers I was at tonight had an end cap with big CLEARANCE! $28.92 all over it. With like 2 dozen Bruticii.

Well considering I've bought a few tf's with the intension to resell them later and I've yet to sell one...pretty much the worst scalper ever.

A decent price, but since I can't bring myself to spring for the FP upgrades...not sure if either is worth it to me or not. Superion maybe, since I already have the Energon Bruticus, but I'm still not sure if I want to toss $30 away for him or go hunting for Long Haul or Bludgeon instead.

I'm in the same boat...not sure I can justify the cost of the add on kit, especially when it's more then the figure itself.

I felt the same way until I got the kit. I think it was sooo worth it. Made Superion just 1000% more enjoyable. Just my two cents.

I have no doubt it does make it way better....

I was just looking over the add on kits and noticed that there are 2 kits for Bruticus....That's $90 to upgrade a now $30 toy. That's a pretty tough sell.

Yeah, that big price tag made me pause too, but here's how I justified it. You get two custom scout class figures, so doing my justification math, it's $55 for the custom limbs, just like what superion add-on costs and $35 for the two new scout figures, which is expensive, but not totally nuts.

But for those on a budget, I'll point you to my thread on a Bruticus custom I was working on before I found out about the Fansproject add-ons. http://www.cybertron.ca/boards/showthread.php?t=18651&highlight=Bruticus+custom It's really easy to do, and there's very little "skill" involved. Just an alternative if you don't have the cash to blow on the add-ons.

It's not the so much the cash thing for me it's the justification of the cash....but you do raise a few some good points.

power core don't have limb bot modes, and yeah they were released in asia, but they were under the Universe banner
