Masterpiece Skywarp on Clearance at Wal-Mart Canada

Thanks to Jacobot for letting us know Masterpiece Skywarp was found in Wal-mart's clearance isle for $50. Also found was Universe/Classics 2.0 Vector Prime, Blaster and Heavyload for $10.

This could be your last chance to pick up these items at retail. The sighting was made at Wal-mart Argentina Rd in Ontario.

I haven't seen these anywhere in some time, although they were never that common here in the first place.

Normally I'd be angry about this, but the 'clearance' is only 10 bucks less. Still, 10 bucks is 10 bucks. Now if only the blasted figure didn't already have little breaks and stress marks at the wings after, what, 2 transformations? Yeesh!

Now to wait patiently for Devastator to go on Clearance down to, like, 40... and then I'll bite.

He has two different faces.

I never actually saw Skywarp on shelves, lucky my friend got it for me. Hope whoever doesn't have one can grab one before the prices go up on eBay. :)

I got mine a while ago for $48 because of the walmart price integrity policy. There was a sign above the end display where they were stocked for $58.92 and it rang up at $59.92 so the customers service girl gave it to me for $48.92. I may buy another one if it gets closer to $40.

the original price, $59.92 was already hard to find in my location... and it is always Ontario get the best selection and discount first. or at least most of the time. we don't even have much sighting of the Inferno for the whole year...

They can do it at any checkout in Walmart. Problem is usually lack of training. There is supposed to be a sticker/sign at every terminal.

Just remember SCOP applies to unstickered items. If the sticker has a lower price, you get that price.

Yeah. I never saw that mold as a slavish modern version of the G1 look, more like an updated version of the classic seeker with a few new twists (like the samuraï-ish hip guards).

It's an easy fix. They can be taken off the ball joint and attached to where they attach in Jet mode. Then, if you choose to since you won't need them, you can cut the 2 ball joints on his waist off.
Honestly, for such an amazing G1 seeker rendition of a masterpeice, that small issue is hardly an issue.

It's not a design flaw... sigh. If you've seen the protoypes of the mold they have those side things attached to the leg so the hips move freely. Here's a youtube video of a guy who did a mod so the mold works like the prototype http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=izPgdShMkpE

Apparently they changed designers part way through and the new desginer made the stupid change, probably as a cost cutting measure.

only if you could find one there and their sale price is not consist and different from location to location. That's why they have so many sighting with different price at seibertron.com in US.
