It's great to have one of the voices from TF at this expo! There will be a lot of big names at this con (Brent Spiner, Billy Dee Williams!) It's gonna be nuts. It's twice the size it was last year, and last year it was awesome. This con is always all about the big names!

Although I will be spending hours upon hours in the Fallcon Gaming Room :D

Cheers Ian

Trust me, Tony Todd won't have a big line-up. I've been at a couple of cons where he's been there. He does get quite a few fans but nothing compared to other celebs that attend cons.

Tony Todd is a working actor, he does quite a few cons to supplement his income. Cons are a great way for actors to make a few grand from a very easy weekend of work.

Cheers!

It does look to be shaping up fairly well, having all the big franchises covered by a guest.

Apparently - and if it's true, they need to update their webpage - Leonard "Galvatron" Nimoy will also be at this year's Comic Expo!

I only heard about it through LiveJournal, though, so take this with a shake of salt.

There's some kind of ad on the C-train about "spock beaming down"

On their Facebook feed they advise us all to check out this week's episode of "The Big Bang Theory" for a super special announcement, that they will not specify. O_O

*hopes it's true*

My girlfriend is in love with Tony Todd. More specifically, his voice. She really enjoyed The Fallen.

Their website seems up to date to me.

Are you sure your not confusing Fanexpo in Toronto with Calgary?

The website does not show Leonard Nimoy, however, the rumor is 100% TRUE!

As Nocturn said, there are ads on the train.
One ad says "Spock beams down 04.24.10"
The other says "To not attend would be illogical."
with both ads for the Calgary Comic and Entertainment Expo. :D

There is also a commercial on CTV about it. Epic!

Thats interesting. Very deep pockets in Calgary.:)

Any thought that it could be the actor that plays Sylar on Heroes(the new Spock?)

I saw the commercial last night, and it showed Nimoy. So, unless they were really sneaky and wanted the wrath of fanboy nation, I would assume it is the real deal.

That makes sense. He's prolly cheaper than Nimoy, and the fan base certainly won't be disappointed.

Thats shaping up to be an amazing lineup then.

Strange they don't have him on the website as yet but then again Calgary Expo didn't announce Olsmos till like a couple days before the Con last year.

How long has Bruce Timm been signed up?

I was in his line in 2007 (he was beside Paul Dini and his magician wife) and it was crazy/insane for his sketches. I basically spent from opening until lunch in his line and then he began taking names and doing a cut-off. Picked-up my sketch (and watched him draw it) later that afternoon and it was definitely worth it!
