War for Cybertron Next Transformers Toy Line?

Do you think the up-coming video game will have a high successful toy line?

what are your thoughts on this?

personally i think the toy line would most likely do very well and the video game to but i really wouldn't buy that many of the figures, maybe just get prime and megatron and thats it.

WFC sets the canon for the next 3-4 years according to Hasbro so I think the toy line will do pretty well. We may have just found out about it but Hasbro has had this in their pocket for probably just over a year or so now.

There is the chance only a couple toys get made, and their put in the Universe series.

Going off that Soundwave pictured there, my theory is WFC is the prequel to the new cartoon.

And that we'll see some WFC Cybertronian modes sprinkled in as a result.

I wouldn't mind if it the War For Cybertron designs ended up being the next toy line. The robot mode designs looks sexy.

I think PCCs tie into the new line. Hasbro has stated that this is the starting point for the next mainline. Classics 3 will run along side it.

Calfmaster sounds the torso in an all cow combiner. Or the picture of the cow turning into a meat robot that's out there on the interwebs.

Well, the leaked picture of the new Prime has certainly sparked my interest. I really like the looks of it! :D I am really looking forward to some more pictures and really holding out that a WFC Starscream gets made!!! :)

I'm guessing that pic is of a pack-in for the game. It looks pretty small, about scout or activator sized. That doesn't mean we won't see much bigger figures released.

Since this game is setting up the fiction for the next few years, I can't see them not making toys of at least the main characters.

More than likely, if that figure is only a pack in for the game, it'll eventually be released as a scout or legends class figure with a different colour scheme or battle damage or something in the main line.

There are very few Primes that did not get multiple releases per sculpt. Though it has happened, like that movie cake topper figure which I want for some reason.
