The Zellers flyer today (page 34?) lists the exclusive Legends 5-pack on sale. $14.99 with Trade-N-Save or $24.99 without. Either way, it's a big savings from the $39.99 price tag.

Something like that. :p The Newmarket Zellers in Upper Canada Mall literally has a ton of these things!

What's this "Trade-N-Save"? This is the first I've heard of it.

What's this "Trade-N-Save"? This is the first I've heard of it.

It's for members who carry the Zellers HBC Rewards card, if I'm not mistaken, you save up points like any other member card thing and once you have enough you TRADE the amount of points necessary to SAVE 10$ off the advertized price... Or something like that. I never bought in to any of that garbage, I only shop at Zellers five times a year total maybe ten on busier years.

It's the gimmick to end all gimmicks and I LOATHE it Entirely.

Ah, a points thing. I can never seem to save up enough points on any of those plans to actually buy anything.

Well, except for PC points. I managed to save enough enough of those to buy $20 worth of groceries a couple of times. I like PC points.

Even if the set is on sale, it's still not worth it

As for Reward points in general, they are all rip offs
-Shopping 3 yrs at Zellers, I've only managed to get a $50 gift card
-With Visa, I have to spend $12,000 to get a $100 gift card (got this once thanks to my Transformers spree for the past 2 years)

zellers points are meaningless. my grandmother spend hundreds of dollars and gained hundreds of points, only to recieve a small footstool that must cost no more then 20 bucks

my visa "rewards" card, gives back 1% of total purchases that year. so if i spend 2000, i get back 20 bucks. whooo peeee

Yodobashi has a dope point system. Its basically a 10% card. Everytime you buy something you get 10% back in points/yen, then you can use it next time you buy something, or save the points to accumulate them. Everytime I buy something big, I get myself a DVD or a TF for free.

My grocery store does it, and I get about $50 worth every 3 months or so. The sushi place by the mall does the same thing, but its closer to 3%. The cool thing is the amount of points are shown right on the card. So dope.

Not really. Its like a plastic card with a small piece of foil and everytime I go it imprints my new points value.
