The Toys "R" Us exclusive Gathering at the Nemesis 3-pack consisting of a repainted 2007 Voyager Megatron (http://www.tfw2005.com/resources/rotf-decepticons-384/megatron-gathering-at-nemesis-3688/), The Fallen (http://www.tfw2005.com/resources/rotf-decepticons-384/the-fallen-1970/) and a redecoed Soundwave (http://www.tfw2005.com/resources/rotf-decepticons-384/soundwave-gathering-at-nemesis-3666/) has been reduced to $49.88.

Just went to TRU today. The Gathering at the Nemesis set has been marked for "clearance" at 50 dollars.

Not the best picture, but it shows the set is now 49.88 on my receipt.

If this isn't actually news, let me know.

pretty good price, i'd buy it if i didn't have a fallen, even for megatron i'd buy that set, they look pretty good to me i dunno why people hate this set so much lol

I already have a Fallen and I only really like the blue Soundwave from this set, but that is just me. :D

Well, I know why I hated the set when it came out. First off, I had the Fallen, second... the price! At this price though... I might pick one up. Maybe.. That would leave me with 3 Fallens though.. haha

Well, I know why I hated the set when it came out. First off, I had the Fallen, second... the price! At this price though... I might pick one up. Maybe.. That would leave me with 3 Fallens though.. haha

So then you can say,

"I've fallen for The Fallen and I can't get up!" :D

Thanks. I'm curious how much of a 'rule' that is.

Is Anything stopping them from a 49.88 clearance price, then a new 39.88 clearance in the new year?

I think I will get it at that price today, and try to get rid of the extra "The Fallen" at Comic-Con tommorow.... it would make it a little worth it at that point.

Yeah - though I picked up the pack last week, I'm actually going to take it back today unopened.

The more I thought about it, the less I could justify it - I want that other Soundwave repaint more, own The Fallen, and thus would only want it for a Megatron that would likely not get displayed.

Agreed, I'll settle for a NEST Soundwave too because I hate trying to sell off unwanted figures from sets, it's never worked out for me and I'm too lazy. I may have more luck trying to get rid of the extra BB if I don't want it anyways. :)
