Canadian Movie Packaging Error?

I don't know if anyone else has taken notice of this but is it just me or do all the Canadian deluxe movie packaging have Decepticon cards on them? If you notice on the US packaging the faction symbols on the top right all reflect the factions of their respective characters whereas on the Canadian packaging they all have Decepticon faction symbols. Not that this is a titanic difference just happen to pick up on this as I was flipping through people's haul postings.

this wouldnt be the first time hasbro canada has gone cheap on the packaging. just look at the 6" titaniums

for the longest time, they all had megatron's packaging, since it featured both autobot and decepticon logos. and the back was generic enough that they could put it for any figure.

yeah I noticed that too.

It's definately cuz Hasbro has the single generic card back for all 6 of the 1st wave of deluxes, in that tri-language packaging.

I noticed that too.... I asked them about the 6" TIT at botcon last year, and they said it's because of the multi languages. Makes it easier to print the same packaging and just change the bio, which is now on the instructions.

Lame excuse, but understandable.

I only gotten the free movie poster with my protoforms purchased from Walmart. Has anyone gottent he free movie poster with the deluxe figures?

I noticed they all had decepticon symbols and different backsides from the other boxes shown however in this case I like it because they put the bio in colour on the back of the instructions...I like that much more then keeping an extra piece of board around.

Didn't notice myself. I just tossed the boxes and kept the artwork inserts and bios.

... or it is a way for Hasbro to force those completionists to buy EVERY packaging variant. To us an error... to them $$$.

I can't say for the newer wave but the Protoforms I got had both Decepticon and Autobot insignia.

Notice this today at TRU when I was there getting the other 2 I needed. I like it better that they have the Bio printed on the other side of the instructions, still they should still the Bots with their own logo.
