Masters of Metallikato Set on Sale at Toys R' Us

Thanks crimbot for reporting that the Revenge of the Fallen Masters of Metallikato set will be onsale at Toys R' Us from September 25th-October 1st for $34.99 (normally $49.99).

I didn't see this frontpaged or anything yet, but I noticed in the TRU flyer that the Bludgeon and Whirl set will be on sale this weekend for $34.99.
A much better price than the $49.99 it sells for now.
I may think about getting it now.

Maybe... IF someone can give me a good alternate name to call the Bludgeon in this set, because I'm gonna get the tank version, and I simply can't abide owning two Bludgeons.

Yeah... yeah, I think Armorhide [or Wreckage] will do. Or Stryker.

Treads seems appropriate as well, but, well, it's sort of a silly name, and he doesn't have treads.

I think you may have just sold a set, sir.

Stryker seem appropriate as that was what his name and colour scheme would have been should he have made it into the first film.

Still giving this one a miss. I picked it up today, held it in my hands, and had a good long look and think about it, because I knew it was going on sale soon. And I decided that I just couldn't bring myself to buy it, even if it was on sale.

I feel the same way you do TLP. I am not spending that kind of money on this shelf warmer, it's a nice change, but it's still too much for something so common. Wait until the price drops further. Trust me, there will be lots of them. :p

The only thing that kinda bugs me about this "sale" is that this is the price they should have been at in the first place. That's what the Scorponok/Blackout set was priced at.
And even though I did want this set.. I'm still only sitting at a maybe, since I still haven't gotten a lot of the figures that I want.

Yeah "sale". That's the original US price too (dropping dollar conversion), and I'm sure they've been on sale down there since they were released.

I'd love the Bludgeon in this set much more better than the new one, but Whirl is just a *sigh* figure. I won't be getting this set.

I wouldn't justify buying this set. Repaints for $34? Another *sigh*. But at least is 2x better than the price before.

Lets see it drop to $10 or even less.Who knows?
