Mine would be Menasor followed by Bruticus, Superion and then Predaking.
They have to make a new Menasor and predaking set for the universe line. I would be happy if the next few lines of universe figures were only gestalt figures that combine, 1 from each team in each wave would be perfect for me.

Really tough call. I went with Predaking, but Menasor and Bruticus come a close second with Computron right behind them.

It's Superion and then Computron at a close second.

Man I still remember the episode(s) when the arielbots and stunticons were introduced. The finally had Megatron having the stunticons merge into Menasaur while crossing his arms and laughing at his inevitable victory. It lasted 3 seconds after which he dropped a load of nuts and lube into his metal slacks when Prime had the arielbots merge into Superion ....hahhaha

From the list provided, purely toy-wise, I'd have to say Monstructor.
My reasons:
- Best proportions out of the list above (Predaking has hulking huge arms/legs, and everyone else's limbs are WAY too short)
- No loose parts to keep in the box in both modes (if you count the shell holding the combiner parts)
- 2 gimmicks: Pretenders AND Combiners? Hell yeah.

Honestly though, my favorite combiner isn't on the list:RID Rail Racer.

Piranacon hands down. Easily the most underrated and overlooked combiner out there. I loved the seacons that I had as a kid, and there just aren't enough sea-based transformers.:)

i love them all,but if i was to choose the main 3 i like....

predaking(just something about a combiner who has feral instincts and the highest ability to funtion and react fast to any given situation compared to the rest of the combiner teams in combined mode.)
pirahnacon(loved him since i was a kid,love him and the seacon army even more now after watching all the japanese series where basically the smaller limbs are all "cannon fodder" by the hundreds)
computron(iv'e liked him ever since grimlock gave the technobots life and intelligence :D)

I picked up a bootleg Defensor last year (never had him as a kid) and was pleasantly surprised. QC is crap of course, but I really like his proportions compared to most of the Scramble City combiners. Bruticus is fun and whatnot but he's so wonky, so is Superion. Though I've never physically seen an Abominus...

Predaking is probably the best. Unique, HUGE and well proportioned.

Devastator is super-fragile, which isn't great for play value, but can't go wrong with the first combiner... and I really enjoy how he goes together. I like that he's very asymmetrical as well, with the dramatically different legs.

My top two would have to be Predaking and Devastator.

Predaking because we now have ample beasts to counter the Dinobots and in the toy is HUGE!!! Now Hasbro just needs to unleash a new set of the Preds and we'll be happy.

My vote went to Computron as the Technobots where my favorite combiners as a child. Devastator would be second with Defensor coming in 3rd.
