[Since this was not mentioned in the TRU sale thread, I thought I'd let people know about it. Merge it if needed...]

Along with the Ultra figures sale at TRU, there's also a Supreme figure sale. I saw about 20 Primus at TRU Pointe Claire for $39.98. It's Primus without any gimmicks. No Unicron head or minicons.

Hi rid,

We got tons of Cybertron Primus here in Vancouver as well for $ 39.98 at Toys R US.

For some strange reason, no one is buying them. I don't know why. Perhaps, people want the one with Unicron's head???

To be honest, I didn't buy one either. It looks nice and neat, but I don't find a "planet" interesting to play with.

For a second I read your post as 20th Primes for 39.98! Man I'd be all over that in a second! Though, like RedOktobre said, for some odd reason Primus also isn't selling well in Winnipeg. Theres probably 20 still warming the shelves at TRU. Im not too sure how long this sale is planned for, but I know its been on for a couple weeks now. Ill wait and see how low the price can go before I pick this figure up. :cool:

LOL, it is always on sale for more than 2,3 months already, i mean...40 bux is really a good deal. I got one a few months ago.

Thats what I thought. Now with that settled, when the heck will 20th DVD Primes go on sale?!

By then they'll be picked up by scalpers, selling them on ebay for 300$ a piece. I can picture it now; Rare 2007 20th anniversary prime MISB!

theres around 12 or so still at TRU here.You've got to get me some if it ever goes on sale. There's 4-5 TRUs where I live and they I saw a big total of 1 since it was released. Believe it or not, I saw more at Best Buy then at TRUs.

There's a bunch at my TRU as well.

I hear that some show up at Winners from time to time for about 50 bucks, but I haven't gotten one there yet.

Really?! Were you ever able to find the robot master knockoffs that apparently appeared at Winners? I remember a TFW board member mention this a while back. I believe its the same product that usually appears at Big Lots in the states. I wish Canada had Big Lots...

so I finally bought one of these today..

wow what an amazing toy, probably the best transformer I own right now.. for 40 bux? killer deal!

really really happy with this transformer, primus rules!

TRU.ca has additional 50% off of on clearance items sale right now, so you could have this at $20, but looks like it's all out of stock now.

Is it only on the Supreme? Or is it for all cybertron figures?? I went to Toy's R Us yesterday, i didn't see anything with 50% off. There are some cybertron Ultra I wanted to get, was waiting for it to get on sale. Please let me know if anyone here knows what is 50% off. Thank you.

I think this is Canada Day online sale, applies to only two transformers on clearance, rattrap and the primus one.

Yeah its old news :) TRU in langley has tons even primes left but the primes are still at the 70 price...

I'm not picking up primus till he goes down to at least 30... I Just hope I do not miss it when he does :D

Anyone in BC happens to see em for that price feel free to pick one up for me I'll pay ya asap ;)

yeah i pucked up movie prime from walmart for 59.99 .. leader prime is the best transformer ever. dont wait till their 30 bux, they will never be that low.

I agreed, it won't last long in Walmart. The last time I went there, there is no leader prime at all.

You can pickup Movie Leader Prime at Zeller's for $ 59.99 in the Vancouver area.

If you cannot find one, I saw it at Crystal Mall Toy's Planet, also 59.99.

oh they will go on sale, because they will keep the price the same. but in 20 years $90 will buy you a slice of bread. so in 20 years DVD Prime will cost the same as a slice of bread. so it's like a sale.

Check the Ontario Sightings thread - some Ontario Winners have 20th DVD Prime for $39.99. YMMV.

My TRU had over 70 Primus in stock a couple weeks ago (according to my quick # per shelf x number of shelves calculation). He was $40 - I'm hoping he'll get cheaper. Maybe they'll pricematch tru.ca?
