yep. probably the same manufacture made my KO alternator Rodimus. I think these are considered high quality KOs. In China, there are a lot of KO G1 Combiner sets, and they arn't cheap.

Was the original City Commander (Ultra Magnus) knocked-off as well? Mine never came with screw plugs and, quite frankly, has no screws either. It came from Kool Toys, if that helps...

City Commander was never screwed together, FP glued him together just like these KOs. What everyone is speculating is that these guys got hold of the CC Mould and just change colours to make SC. Why they wouldn't do PC is beyond reason in my train of thought but hey whatever! Also, I heard the quality is pretty darned good for a KO.

Are the Fansproject stuff licensed? If not, I don't consider the other ones you guys buy on Ebay as KO. It is just a copy of the Shadow Command. I don't see much difference in the quality from these photos, cannot really judge unless I see the real thing. If it is cheaper, I say go for it.

I really don't think that they are licensed in anyway. I mean there are no markings anywhere on the box saying so. Plus they are a Third party company.

Honestly, where would we be as a society without plagiarism? We would not have most of the things we have to today! I know that FP put a lot of hard work, time and money into this item but you knew it was going to happen. Everyone is out to make a quick $$$.

I don't know how much work they put into the Shadow Commander or Powered Commander. To me, it is just another City Commander with different color, and they are charging over priced for it. Let's see if there is going to be a copy version for Powered Commander at 70 dollars, then I will get one. Seriously I wouldn't pay 200 dollars for a Third Party item that they claim as exclusive(which isn't now) with different color.

got my ko yesterday, some pieces aren't glued together as nice, and it's a little loose, but all in all it's a decent quality ko

Thanks for the heads up - I had an offer in for one of the KOs... But didn't know it was a KO until now.
