Thanks go out to Articuplex and Unicrons_Domain for letting us know that Wal Mart Canada has the Transformers Universe deluxe figures on sale for $8.92. As well as Universe ultras for $19.92.

They have a long return period, way over a month, so why not? If you don't go for it you miss out for sure. I know Canadian Tire will do that, if buy something and less than two weeks later it goes on sale they'll give you the sale price.

Ya! I couldn't believe it! I stopped by my local walmart, they had the two figs I was looking for, then I notice the sticker price tags... checked at the scanner and yep, sure enough $8.92 is right.

STILL way too expensive for Cheetor, the only new Universe Deluxe that's shown up. But this does make getting Cyclonus, Hound, and Starscream more worth it. (as if they needed the help)

Figures....just picked up Cyclonus and Starscream on Tuesday, and I don't think I still have my receipt...ah well!

Then again, the last time they were on sale, the Walmart here wasn't doing it anyways, so I didn't really miss out.

I just picked up Cyclonus for $9.97 at TRU, so I won't sweat the extra dollar. But at $8.92, I just might bite on one of the deluxe Galvatrons warming my local Wal-Mart shelves! Might pick up a Silverbolt while I'm at it too.

Hmmm... Maybe I should consider picking up Universe Stormcloud. I already have Powerglide but my decepticon army is suffering from an embarrassing lack of fliers. My autobot's airforce just outclasses the cons at the momant. (3 deluxes vs 3 voyagers and 2 ultras)

I pocked up a Hound for 10.08 after taxes, sweet deal!!

I hate his missile launcher though, it sucks, I thought it would be better designed to stay on his shoulder but oh well. Mirage doesn't have his missile launcher either, so now both get displayed without one :)

Toys R Us doesn't has the same code on the receipt for all transformers, Walmart has individual codes, so, if you can only find the toys you want at Toys R Us do this:
1. Buy any toy on sale at walmart.
2. Buy the toy you want at Toys R Us.
3. Return the walmart toy to Toys R Us with the Toys R Us receipt.
Do a happy dance.

Thanks, just be aware they will make you fill out a standard little return form with your name, phone number etc. on it. Shouldn't be a problem. Although I assume that if you return 48 transformers in one day at the same time, they might give you a phone call? So don't do it too much, okay?
