Must be some kind of inexpensive Hot Wheels-like subline.

This is part of a new line for the new movie. It's meant to take fast transformation to the next level. It's a one step transformation where you stand the car on it's rear bumper to make it's bot mode:D

i just realized something...
none of us have mentioned that we actually get to see its bot mode! and its very similar to that design we saw!

LMAO I wonder if this is part of a new lame line....or some lame Burger King toy....or lame....It's not lame, just highly simplistic. It's obviously for youngens.

What kind of title is that. The toy is non-transformable, not the picture. :p

I don't believe that's the same toy that has been leaked by the Chinese guy.

Is was posted by the same Chinese guy in the same thread where the first pictures were leaked (on tf08.net). Maybe the car looks curvy from the top but not from the bottom.

Were that the case we'd see the blockier outline stick out from the top view of the car mode, or the curvier elements of the car from the bottom view.

He looks like a 'Con. Then again, so did Ironhide.

Not really, since that's not the same toy previously seen:

I'm not convinced it is the same toy either. Not that I care if the first image is of a transformable toy.

Front of the toy looks the exact same though.

Flipping upside down is the new transforming. The new movie line will save us all a lot of money.

Heh, when I saw the first few photos I thought it was a Legends scale toy, now it makes more sense.... so Hot Wheels is on board eh? Interesting (specially after coming off Speed Racer)

Pascal

I didn't say Hot Wheels was on board, just said the car was Hot Wheels-LIKE. :)

I would much rather seeing a prototype of a different character, like the Chevy Beat. We haven't seen his bot mode yet, have we?

I thought people complained the robots all looked similar during the fight scenes... This guy looks like a cross between Jazz and a mini-Megs:rolleyes:

Actually, looking at the pictures again, you can see the front of the car is the same shape on both and that the picture of the underside is cut off at the bottom, therefore hiding the rounded extending part of the car.

Uhm, it's not cut off.
And even then, it doesn't explain why the sides of the transforming one curve inwards while the one in your pic doesn't curve inwards at all.

Red is the "underside" toy, blue is the "top view" toy, purple is both of em. As you can see Undersidebot lacks the inward curves, and while the top piece of both toys matches up perfectly, the bottom does not at all. And even if the picture was "cut off" as Pascal said, that would make the cars' respective lengths different.

Same toy, 2nd one is v2.0 then. It's obviously a Corvette, THE Corvette.

It's obviously the same car, yes, but not the same toy.
