Well who basically told you about this site and or who did you refer to this site. I think user name Dees told me about this site. For me I think I refer ANIMEXHOBBY about this site

Purely by accident... because of TFW's automatic redirect when you clicked the Canadian section.

Super_Megatron saw me walking out of Wal-mart with transformers in my bag, told me to step in his shiney car, took me to this new fangled thing you call the internet, and told me I couldn't leave before I made an account on cybertron.ca

I think it was Dak who gave me the heads up on the forums being on this site. He mentioned it while there was food around, so I'm surprised I even remembered the website.

I was googling for "cyber porn in canada" one eve and I guess in my haste for searching for...well cyber porn, I miss-spelled it and came up with cybertron.ca.

I have enjoyed my time here, but I still have not found the "cyber-porn" that I was looking for...hmm.

that's a good thing, especially since you import things in faster than the some of the online sponsors here at good prices.

There was a link (or is?) from TFW2005.com that redirects you here, that's how I found this place. :)

Didn't refer anyone since a) I only know a few TF fans and b) I don't know many people that post on forums anyways...

A mere two months ago, I was looking for a list of upcoming Transformers Universe releases and fell on GMfan101's thread:

http://www.cybertron.ca/boards/showthread.php?t=8042&highlight=universe+september

I read through and I was about to close the window when I saw the red maple leaf on the logo at the top! I check the site out further and decided to join in. Been chatting you folks up ever since.

Very informative, I must say, it's the clearest picture I got of upcoming (and now past) releases!! Much appreciated.

Well the idea came to me when I realized the US release dates weren't in sync with the Canadian release dates, that we didn't have a nationwide Canadian resource section, and when I got sick of people posting "is "(insert name here) out yet?" in every sightings board. So I figured I could give some more content to our site, inform people when product is available, and stop the often obvious (and usually repeated) questions in the sightings forum.

I'm not 100% happy with the setup of it though but since one can't import proper tables on these forums this is the best I could come up with (you have no idea how much the asymetrical vertical lines drive me nuts :P). But I do have plans to upgrade them. IE add to the waves which previous figures will be brought back, such as animated voyagers wave 2 which came with cybertron Megatron, Starscream, Bulkhead and Optimus but many though once wave 2 was released Optimus was the only figure in each case....though he was only 1/4 of it. It would wind up looking something like this with the first wave the figure appearing first:

Wave--|Name----------------------|Retail Price|Release Date|Status|
1,2----|Bulkhead (http://www.tfw2005.com/resources/animated-autobots-190/bulkhead-1418/)-------------------|$29.99----|May 2008---|RELEASED
1,2----|Starscream (http://www.tfw2005.com/resources/animated-decepticons-191/starscream-1429/)----------------|$29.99----|May 2008---|RELEASED
1,2----|Cybertron Megatron (http://www.tfw2005.com/resources/animated-decepticons-191/megatron-voyager-cybertron-mode-1562/)--------|$29.99----|May 2008---|RELEASED
2------|Optimus Prime (http://www.tfw2005.com/resources/animated-autobots-190/optimus-prime-voyager-earth-mode-1416/)--------------|$29.99----|June 2008--|RELEASED

I was also thinking of adding a more specific nationwide release status IE 1 for Ontario, 1 for Quebec, 1 for the East provinces, and 1 for the West provinces...course that would require me to check practically every sightings forums or ask those in other provinces to PM me with info/proof and part of me is dreading the amount of work involved in that :P

Magnus
09-08-2008, 01:35 PM
I really like the Wave column idea, but I agree with you that creating 4 different release skeds would be a crapload of work!!!

I'm a stickler for straight lines too... wouldn't it just simpler using tabs and straight text than RTF or HTML or whatever this forum is in?

In any case, I don't know if you get regular props for your work, but man, this is great stuff you're doing!! Keep it up!

I was a slow starter... years ago I found bigbot.com and was going there for all my TF news and updates. (can you imagine?) I just didn't look around that much. Then I found another TF site, that I went to for a while... and I found out about TFW2005.com because of the Orsonsworld Fiasco when it went down (if anyone remebers that), and I liked the site better than the one that I was visiting, so I started frequenting there. Then they announced cybertron.ca and I made my way over here when it was just a fledgling sister site. Somehow my account disapeared and I had to reactivate, but thats my story and I'm sticking to it.
