There has to be people other there who spend that much money on these at first, otherwise I assume there would be no scalpers... Like I've had stuff up on craigslist at cost, or less, and would get no interest on the items. If someone is asking for double, there must be someone paying... right?

Well, sometimes there are those desperate people who 'gotta have it first', but anybody following the hobby and with any sort of sense would know these things are going to be widely available soon enough. It's probably just some opportunistic douchebag who thinks he's going to make a quick profit, but he'll find out soon enough when no one buys it. Then again, some people seem to have money to burn so maybe they'll buy it regardless.

Personally, I think you would have more luck selling the pieces individually. Perhaps I am wrong, but I don't think there are many people willing to drop $850 for a bulk lot of Prime toys. Most people here probably have at least some Prime toys and won't want duplicates unless they are customizers.

Just my $0.02, but take it for what you will.

My Takara Generation FOC Starscream and Kickback finally arrived from Japan today. After having a FOCing hard time transforming Hasbro KB, I look at the Takara one and it turns out Hasbro's instruction is wrong on so many steps. Hasbro's instruction doesn't show you where to store the weapon. Total fail! Leave it to Takara to do it right.

Now I just need to find a new Hasbro SS so I can return the defective one.

As for my stuff, I might just sell it individually if I can't get any takers. Carissa is right though, it's harder for someone to drop that much money.

I figured how to transform KB and store his weapon on my own. The reviews that came before his 'mass distribution' didn't help as the reviewers never figured it out.
