Unhappy WTB well used fun transformers for my 5 year old!

He loves to play with these!
I tried ordering some off EBAY and got ripped off with a couple cheap knock off sets, that broke with in 5 mins. This was not a good scene... Kinda broke his heart. We made replacement arms out of pipe cleaners.
The currency exchange and return shipping pretty much made it a write off...
Lesson learned, so I am here hoping to find some better deals.
The toystores here on the island seem cleared out of anything good, and a lot of them are pretty crappy anyway.
There are not like the ones I remember from the 80s...

You may want to consider the cyberverse line, they can take quite a beating and some of the figures are actually pretty good.

Depends how rough your kid is with these as well.

Basically, I'm looking to spend $150, plus shipping for some openbox items, instructions would be nice but not necessary. Tell me what you got!

you can find great clearance/liquidation Transformers at Winners, often 50% off retail and its barely a year out from the original release.

There are some good ko's and third party items for cheap. If you don't mind those kinds of items, you could try SirToys, they have tons of cheap Transformers:

Re: WTB well used fun transformers for my 5 year old!

Maybe that wasn't clear, I order what was advertised as a official transformers toy but what came was a crappy KO that I'd feel ripped off if I'd bought it at a dollar store for $10. That quality was junk, there wasn't a piece of metal in it and the plastic was so cheap, the moulding lines were hideous
And the plastic in the joints broke apart taking out of the box.
eBay is kinda crap, return shipping to china airmail in 14 days was quoted to me at $100, plus you lose on the $US exchange rate, so no way I was send back something I paid $68 for.
No, don't want to order shit knock offs, where the tabs don't click, or one-step playschool stuff. Want some cool WFC, combiner wars, G1, open box, don't mind if its incomplete, that kind of stuff.
There is so much out there now it's kinda hard to follow, but most of the stuff on the shelf at toysrus just looked like poop, better than that china poop, but not Tomy stuff.
