Re: Ebay seller Wheeljackslab--share your experiences please

I've personally never used the guy, based mostly on the similar comments I've read on TFW about him. I was also scared off by the retarded Canadian rules he seemed to have. With a guy like this, who I've rarely heard anything positive about... how is he still even on eBay?

The whole reason why I never bought anything from him is from all the bad stuff I've read about him. You can add this thread to the list.

I think you'll get your part, that's not the problem.

The contention here is that his methods are shoddy at best, regarding Canada, and his descriptions aren't very accurate.

Re: Ebay seller Wheeljackslab--share your experiences please

I've never dealt with him mostly because I've heard a lot of these stories myself. A while ago I had a lot of semi-complete combiner sets where I had the figures but not the parts and so went to ebay to get them. I found all of the stories about this guy put me off and I went and got my Menasor parts from dit138 instead. A little more expensive then I wanted, but the parts got to me faster then I expected and they were all in great shape.

I've had great luck buying several parts from dit138 - shipped fast and cheap and arrived well packed. Good communication too.

Re: Ebay seller Wheeljackslab--share your experiences please

well.....here's my experience from wheeljackslab....an experience that has left me to never use ebay again.

i won a g1 wheelie for $5US.
shipping to canada = $5 US

now i'm up to $10US

he ships the wrong item
he tells me to send it back
canada shipping priority = $10
3 weeks later an email stating that he sent the item montreal but has another one packaged and ready for me.

he then gives me a long winded explanation about the packaging and that he requires $5US more.

so i send it

now everything is working out to $25.

another 3 weeks pass
no response
then i get an email from him stating that he's coming to the first ever transformerscon in toronto.

i meet up only to find out the dude has two address:

1 = USA
2 = TORONTO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

yes people i've been waiting a long time for someone to have problems with this guy and now you know my story.

dude cheated me out of $25.

oh and you're wondering if i got my wheelie

as him....according to him he wrote the email wrong and should've read "Unfortunately i have no more" instead of "fortunately i have one more"

i'll never buy anything from ebay ever again. it's not worth the wait, the shipping, and the nonesense.

i'll wait till the conventions.
why?
for example:
say.....G1 Prime on ebay will sell for $120US
at a convention here in toronto you can buy it for $100 or maybe bargin it to $90.
cost of gas to get to the convention probably $10, parking $10......there i won the same item for the same amount of money, i get to see the item and inspect before buying.

people like him have made a bad name for tf sellers on ebay.
they can never be trusted.

i only use Kooltoys cuz i know him personally.

cheers and happy ebaying.

Re: Ebay seller Wheeljackslab--share your experiences please

Russ Draper is actually pretty good to deal with for parts.

He's the guy at TFcon with the HUMUNGOUS table of TF's.

I just got some Ultra Magnus Launchers and missiles from him, very pleasant and easy to deal with.

His prices are fair once you caculate how much something would cost you on eBay plus exhange, shipping etc.

He doesn't have a website or anything, but you can contact him via email.

Cheers!
