Not necessarily. The voyager version of the red "wheelcon" that can transform on its own is called Demolisher but the one that comes with the Devastator set seems to be called Scavenger (Hasbro even said it was at the show and on the vehicle mode it says SCVNGR). There could be a reason for this in the film....who knows...

I still can't believe how ugly he looks!!! I'm sure he'll be awesome in the film... but damn!!! I'm really disappointed, I was looking forward to forking out the cash to me one!

I've come up with a new theory. They're making the ugliest toys possible to see how shitty a job they can do and still get away with selling billions of dollars in merchandise.

Really! They're asking us "How hardcore are you??" cause if you really were you would still buy this junk.

Here I thought this would be a place of sound discussion. Instead I get an assload of "OMG TIHS IZ SOOOO SHITY" "OMG IST UGLY!!!" responses.

I knew there was a reason I don't come to this site anymore.

Realy, the only thing I don't like is that Devastator is $100 US and is so big. If he were smaller and cheaper I'd be totally okay with no individual robot modes. (considering how they all pretty much turn inside-out I can understand how that would be difficult)

BUT:

Leader Optimus is plastic sex.

Sideswipe is not far behind.

Demolishor is fucking beast and kicks everyone's asses.

Human Alliance is what I've always dreamed of.

The twins, while goofy, look great and vehicle mode and I love the lopsided look of their robot modes.

The preview figs are actually toys I really want, now.

The Robot Replicas finally look COOL.

AND

Gravity Bots are really cute and I want BB NOW.

Everyone is allowed to their own opinion. Only when it gets rediculously excessive does it get annoying and needs to be cut back.

I think there's some fairly objective or easily argued points against elements of the movie toy line right now, from a Transformers engineering and design perspective. It's not that everything BLOWS but from many peoples' perspectives there are some disappointments or letdowns. This is not freaking out, just self-true evaluations.

And the opposite to 'everything blows' is 'everything rocks', which creates equally biased and slanted opinions.

And opinions are cool, just no need to worry so much about those of others.

Really though, Devi is a huge engineering letdown. Just look at the advances Hasbro/Takara made with Car Robot's Build King or Energon Devastator. They've taken 10 steps back with TF2 Devi, and it's such a shame.

Still, I'm sure the movie will make more than a few of us eat our words and run out to get the overpriced beast. I hope I'm not one of those people!

why is voyager ironhide in grey and robot replicas ironhide in black?if he's black in the movie i'm only the repaint/remold voyager for his weapons and put them on movie 1 ironhide.
