So we ordered a couple of workbooks for our oldest son, two to be exact. They sent us 1 of the books in this ginormous box for some reason. I mean if ever there was a time to use an envelope this would be it. What makes it crazier is that they only shipped the one book!! So they have to send the other one separately!! Maybe that will be in an envelope, or an even bigger box!!!

Yeah, I missed it, too, and have a .com preorder as well (fortunately).

Did I ever mention where collecting really isn't a whole lot of fun anymore?

At this rate .com price is close to .ca, and .com is more likely to ship your order unlike .ca.

If .ca does ship it'll go through Halton Hell again like most peoples orders did.

And yes collecting is not fun anymore with all the exclusives and preorders, which may not even ship.

Technically it did. It was last reported in stock at 8:30 PST/ 11:30 EST. Then it was like 7:15 EST last it was preordred.

They may end up charging a premium, pay 10$ more if you really really want your item, and another 5$ or we will put it in a paper envelope and toss it into a vat of overweight raccoons in heat.

To make sure, Anyone get their Amazon.com orders in poor packaging, or just from Amazon Canada?
All my .CA have come in good packaging as well as .com.

not TF, but this happened to us last year when we ordered the two MH "Skullector" dolls last year

Both ordered from Amazon.ca, didn't select gift wrap/box for either

The Grady Twins arrived in the best condition imaginable - in their own original shipper box, INSIDE an Amazon box

The Pennywise? Pic related, the same phenom that happened to many boardmembers with the ER Amazon exclusives last year - shipping label slapped right on the box, no packaging AT ALL, unceremoniously dropped on our front step, during December (luckily was under the awning, but snowy all around)
