pretty much what matrix said.
any time i have attempted to do rainchecking with a tru location is has ALWAYS been up to that locations discretion. many simply do not do it anymore, and the ones that have allowed me to have only done so with items that where not considered "hot or limited" at the time of placing the raincheck and defiantly NEVER during the holiday season.
between Canada and the United states i visit 7 different tru location on a regular basis and this has been consistent behavior between all of them.
everyone's mileage will vary and luck may net you something good, so its defiantly worth the time it takes to ask.
