I'm in that group now for things I really want. The price is still the biggest factor when it comes to purchase. However I started realizing a few years ago how much time/gas/money I was wasting hunting stuff that added to the cost of the item.

Yes the "hunt" used to be fun, but I started to realize it wasn't worth it as much to me anymore. Probably the first big realization came with a trip to the US. I thought about how much I was spending in gas, time and customs and figured I wasn't saving money. On top of that I probably spent more on stuff I really didn't want because I wanted to justify the cost of the trip.

So yes finding that item on the shelf is still a thrill, but if I really want something I will pay a bit more to guarantee getting it. If I don't really desire it, like most of Wave 1 Siege, or Punch/Counterpunch, I will wait for a sale price.

Especially with gas being $1.30 now. The $4 is more then worth it.

But I am not worry for not getting these wave 2 stuffs at least I got a Chromia from EB. It is the last wave that I will grab it online or something since I usually have bad luck with the last one... I have never seen these in stores.

For Soundwave, it may be worth it, especially for someone who wants it now. As for Starscream, I would wait. He is getting rereleased later so there will be more chances to get him. And rerleased figures usually end up being discounted and more available. Plus, this figure is known for having an unpinned chest which should be pinned. it could be that they add a pin in its second release, as they did with the later release of the Studio Series Bumblebee mold.

When you say starscream is getting rerelased does that mean we've missed the chance to get the others? I see iron hide at 33.12 on Amazon and if there's no chance of me picking him up in stores I'll pick him up from Amazon. As for starscream, is this confirmed that he's getting a second release? I saw the reviews of the missing pin so it would be nice to have an updated one.

Starscream is Voyager Class. Ironhide is deluxe. Either way, both have yet to reach saturation at retail so you haven't missed out on Ironhide yet.

There is no missing pin. That was either a hoax or a custom. I have him and there’s no place for a pin.
