Re: BC Community Thread For Non-Sightings Chat

Does our new Free Trade Agreement (CETA) with the European Union mean it will be cheaper to buy from sellers over there??

For which costs? I don't think we have any tariffs on toys. I think it'll be more for things like cheaper dairy.

It probably doesn't affect consumers much anyway, we were still taxed/marked up on toys from the US even with NAFTA.

Only governments, CEO, CFO, Pres and VPs of giant multinational corporations benefit from free trade. Most people - especially consumers - don't gain anything.

What we need is for the government to increase the exemption amount ($20.00) for items imported into Canada. It'd be nice to be like the US with the $2,000.00 exemption

How much would a TF cost if we didn't have free trade with Asia?

My dad works manufacturing parts for export. Canada is like 20% of their market. If we didn't have free trade what would he be doing? Making those TFs at minimum wage locally?

Holy Moley! Who's checked out all the new figures coming courtesy of ToyFair 2017 images?

Re: BC Community Thread For Non-Sightings Chat

It's looking like another amazing (and expensive) year! I hope retailers recognize the popularity of Titans Return and continue to stock while the movie line is out.

Octane and Blitzwing look amazing, so much better than the previous versions of the characters. I have no regrets skipping on Megatron, seeing Blitzwing. Glad to see all the changes to the mold for Octane too.

So many good figures... Haha I feel like I could retire from collecting mainline TFs after this line, I hardly need any characters.

Anyone know if Metalhawk is an individual release or part of a box set? I kind of want Nautica too, but I don't want to buy repaints just for her.

Yeah they're both part of box sets. Sucks.

Re: BC Community Thread For Non-Sightings Chat

The Leader Megatron looks particularly really really good to me in a sea of really exciting stuff.

But all that is in the distant past with announcement of MP Dinobot. I am shocked it's happening. I donno how they are going to make it screen accurate.
