I just transformed...

FansToys Omega Supreme. Put him into rocket base mode and now he's literally taking up my entire coffee table. Maybe a couple millimeters of space on each side and that's it. Forgot what a pain his legs are but other than that he's a really nice transformation

Just got Kingdom Dinobot this afternoon.


I don't love some aspects of how his transformation works (the fake dino head chest pieces becoming thigh panels, leaving his legs with obvious fake "eyes" on them, or how his robot legs so blatantly hang out on his chest and only sort of loosely tab into anchor points to sit along the dino belly) but I'll give them points for creativity in the process considering the price point of the figure.


I'm also not a fan of his raptor hands just hanging as long, outstretched fingers. It would've been nice if they could curl or rotate at the wrists



plus he looks gorgeous in robot mode. Only thing about robot mode I feel is missing is twist/rotation in his thighs so that his feet can be pointed a bit outward and help stabilize him while standing.

Studio series Dino. Great car and bot mode. I originally thought the collar ribbons could've been better had they folded down slightly as they should just put a hinge in. Turned out it has a hinge and was super tight. I think the only downside is the feet swivel is a bit loose, but no real complaint otherwise.

Messed with a couple of figs this weekend

Kingdom Inferno - same as Grapple basically, excited re: able to peg in the back pegs without breaking "a la Grapple"
Though lots of his pegs are having trouble staying pegged together? Also I must have done something wrong because the wheels don't seem to be touching the ground; maybe should actually look at the instructions (but figured since havin Grapple wouldn't need to bother)

Converted Kingdom Dinobot to beast mode again, this time I FINALLY figured out how to clasp those (botshoulders/dinothighs) pieces together effectively! Looks WAY better now, and thank god appears I didn't stress out any of the plastic on my 1st idiot attempt
Raptor is still a bit sh*t, but posing him together w/ (the wife's copy in bot mode) makes for a fun table display

Kingdom core OP & Megs, just fiddling while watchin movies, fun little guys - the Megs is more fun IMO despite the massive backpack

Check those hose attachments and rotate them up. I had the same issue and I felt dumb for not discovering the issue sooner.

Studio Series Topspin. the rubber weapons are a real downer for me. So flimsy, the overall transformation is good. not sure if Id recommend the figure tho unless you enjoy the Movie rendition of the Wreckers

Went through both my G1 and ER Scorponoks along with their respective Fasttracks in order to get them through a photo session.

G1 is so tiny. I'd forgotten how adorably small it was...

Yesterday: Combiner Wars Dead End from bot to car, just love looking at the car mode. Simple and easy to do, flip, flip, fold and done.

Also did Siege Streak from bot to car just to compare with Dead End. Still fun to do but I’m glad to have the “cybertronian” Datsun for my “cybertronian” shelf and skipped on double dipping for an earth mode when I still have the Classics/Henkei version that’s good enough for me. Of the new datsun molds I think the siege one comes together better than it’s earthrise counterpart for the vehicle mode. My only double dip was for Barricade.

Took me awhile, but I finally got around to transforming Siege Ironhide. I just figured he was like Ratchet, so I left him in the box for a few months. There is one difference, at least I have an issue with Ironhide's head. It does not tuck in as nice as Ratchet's. I find I have to turn it sideways in order to close his chest/windshield up.

I don't like the clear windshield, so am trying to decide between Grey and Black windshield - I have some leftover toyhax labels from the Ratchet set that I figured I would play with.
