Because headlights are for suckers! Cool bots like Jazz don't need them.
Besides, I have a feeling this guy will spend most of his time in robot mode anyways.

I'll be honest, it's a great job.
It's the most no-brain of the molds to use in transformation and design.
Also the 350z that Nissan/Datsun made was patterned from Porsche anyhow, so you have a subconsious historical reasoning too.

Any of the Car Bro's from the Classics Series would work fine, I'm sure.

The G1 Jazz didn't have headlights...so I guess I just didn't give them any consideration. I know, I'm weird.
