FP Protector sticker set...
We're just starting to see the first prototypes here for this very ambitious set from Justin Goguen.
It comes with stickers for the entire toy - not just the trailer section. Anyway, here's a shot of the car mode, showing off the photo-realistic flames.

Re: FP Protector sticker set...
Meh, don't care for it myself. I'd prefer a more traditional look.

Re: FP Protector sticker set...
Well that answers my question if you can print realistic flames or not. Not my style but it does look awesome.

Re: FP Protector sticker set...
The mini roller's stickers look like the flames were just copied and pasted. If the flames were smaller with the sides showing more of the red background, it's look nicer IMO (See the side of the hood sticker for Rodimus, like that).
The Rodimus looks too busy, with flames and the weird yellow lines/side panels. I'd just keep it all flames only to make it flow better. The red on the sticker seems a bit too dark, but I know the new Rodimus mold and the protector armour don't have the same red shades, so its hard to match.

Re: FP Protector sticker set...
in terms of the colours, I don't think they're actually ALLOWED to match the colours, since reprolabels is technically a 3rd party company. I know that sounds kind of silly, but in retrospect, reprolabels RARELY fully match up with the colours of the figures they were meant for (Universe Sunstreaker's roof sticker for example is a much brighter yellow than the plastic colour). Delta Star, let me know if i'm wrong on this one

Re: FP Protector sticker set...
No, you can't copyright a color. We weren't going for a complete match on this one - we wanted the hood to look singed, so the areas around the flames are supposed to be darker.
In the print industry, exact color matching is possible, but very expensive. Even more so with labels. We do our best, but there's always a little bit of color shift from one day to another. Even with Hasbro's stickers

Re: FP Protector sticker set...
Looks like there's a lot of effort being put into this set. I can't say it's really my cup of tea though.
Any plans for a more "Classic" set down the line?
