Re: 25th optimus prime

Just bought 3 for the nephews for Christmas. Lots of stock in Fredericton...they also had Perceptor and the Insecticons.

Re: 25th optimus prime

Can anyone tell me if Roller ir spring loaded like in the good old days, or is he like the previous TRU reissue where it is "more safe"? My little guy loves launching Roller from the G3 trailer and I'd like to get him something of his own... and for this price it is about worth it.

99.9 % sure it is. I have the american 25th version and that one is spring loaded, so I'm sure the CDN one is too.

Yes it is spring loaded. Shoots pretty far too.

What did I pay for it the last time they were on sale? I forget now.

Wouldn't mind picking one of those up! Never had an Optimus Prime growing up. Still don't now that I think about it.

<puts on the salesman hat>I picked one up a month or so back and dispite the short stacks and slightly pinkish color, I think he's worth it even though I have an original G1 already. Not much with the posability and all, but I never got to buy a G1 prime MISB before. There's just something about G1 figures that are just fun. I can't put my finger on it but they just are. So if you got childhood connections with the figure I think it'll work for you.<takes off salesman hat>
