Re: San Diego Comic Con 2010 Exclusive Blaster Released at Retail

I have been on the hunt for two days now. I have gone to various Winner and Marshals and found only Star Wars items available. I had a gut feeling to check the East 905 area so I cruised out to Whitby tonight and found none but my gut feeling told me to go to the Ajax store. Score. I found em.
Hunt is over. Good luck guys. HomeSense seems to be the only place selling them. I got a pair now. What a great day.

Re: San Diego Comic Con 2010 Exclusive Blaster Released at Retail

Went to 3 Home Sense stores and got nothing.

Did find some TFs though (see Sightings page), hopefully they realize selling TFs is a good idea and will order more

Re: San Diego Comic Con 2010 Exclusive Blaster Released at Retail

If anyone can pick up an extra one of these, I'd be glad to trade Beast Wars Season 1 for it (or any figure that you may be interested in). I will be at TFCon in a few weeks and could make the trade there! PM me if you're interested! Thanks!!! :]

Seems to be Home Sense/Home Sense-Winners hybrids only at the moment. I also went to a Winners a few days before this thread was posted and there was nothing.

Re: San Diego Comic Con 2010 Exclusive Blaster Released at Retail

Remember that Winners stock is completely random. Nobody at the store is going to know, it goes on the shelves and then either moves or doesn't. I've learned the hard way if you see something cool, buy it then. It probably won't last.

The weird thing is that I've found TFs there that I never saw on store shelves. Got a blue Alternator Tracks for only $10 bucks 5 years ago. A couple ago, I got all the G1 minibot Legends toys (Warpath, Cosmos, etc) that never showed up at regular retail at a few Winners in the Lower Mainland. $5 each. Got some good GI Joe 25th Ann vehicles as well.

Any rate I'll be hitting my nearest Winners daily for the next few weeks. I have G1 Blaster, but fuck I want the tapes!

Re: San Diego Comic Con 2010 Exclusive Blaster Released at Retail

I'm sorry, but I believe that this is a hoax. Unless someone can convince me otherwise, I will stand by my belief.

For one thing, I don't see a receipt in the photo. If you don't have a receipt readily available, can you please share a picture of those price tags on top of the box?

And another thing--"Homesense / Winners"? Which one was this Blaster sighted at? In my area, Homesense and Winners are two separate stores.
